And what you look like in those clothes... ( you have to do a google pic - a like)

Probably Dash or Bonmarche

FunkyPeacock · 16/05/2015 13:59

I have no intention of trying on any clothes from either of the above to find out how shit I would look - I know what I need to know from the windows displays!

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 14:00

I think (apart from obvious ones that are for teenagers) it would be WHite Stuff or Joules.

I HATE their stuff. Drippy primary school teacher ware.

M&S

elQuintoConyo · 16/05/2015 14:07

Boden
M&S
Bon Marche (hadn't realised they were still around!)
Primark (ethics, not just quality)
Chanel (dull as arseholes).

BrianButterfield · 16/05/2015 14:18

Bon Marche. (My MIL's favourite shop!)

Loads:

Cos - I like some of their stuff (my favourite jumper ever is from there) but most of is far too long and droopy for me. I'd have to just buy black tops and wear them as mini dresses.

Next - I honestly can't remember the last time I bought anything in there, but it is at least a dozen years ago.

Wallis - garishly printed polyester and everything far too long and big for me

Zara - I just haven't got the patience to search through rows and rows of tat in the hope of finding one or two nice things. H&M ditto.

Gap - all I could wear from there is denim mini skirts and the occasional cotton top.

Mantaray at Debenhams - I would have to kill myself, frankly.

FishCalledWonder · 16/05/2015 14:21

Bon marche would just make people assume you were skint. Really expensive but awful would be worse because it would look like a deliberate style choice!

Muskey · 16/05/2015 14:23

Pri mark, Bon marche, to max

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/05/2015 14:24

Fat Face - I'd look like a mad cat lady in it.

mrsdavidbowie · 16/05/2015 14:25

Pauls Boutique

Skinheadmermaid · 16/05/2015 14:28

Somewhere like Boden or Next. Just not my taste at all.

SwedishEdith · 16/05/2015 14:30

M&S apart from knickers.

HelenF350 · 16/05/2015 14:50

Zara, my boobs never fit in anything in there Blush

afink · 16/05/2015 14:56

Jane Norman - so incredibly tacky.

EuphemiaCoxton · 16/05/2015 15:03

Cos
M&S
Joules
Boden
Juicy Couture

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 16/05/2015 15:06

Fat Face, Mantaray, White Stuff.

I think I'd die of boredom.

CocoaBeans · 16/05/2015 15:08

Bon Marche and Peacocks - but at least they look cheap so people know you are poor rather that being expensive and therefore a style choice.

Pasithea · 16/05/2015 15:11

Primark

New look.
TK crap. Sorry max.

Actually never ever bought from them.

CoconutAmericano · 16/05/2015 15:27

Next. I find their clothes depressingly drab.

Nevergoingtolearn · 16/05/2015 15:32

Hate most high street shops, don't like;
Matalan
Primark
Bhs
Dorothy P's
New look

I like next but rarely buy clothes for myself as the whole world seems to be wearing it ( I don't want to look like everyone else ).

GiantGaspingSatanicCyst · 16/05/2015 15:43

Desigual.

mumofthemonsters808 · 16/05/2015 15:49

Hollister, if I could actually fit into anything, I would look like a twat, the look may work for a Calafornian super model Mum dressing down but not for middle aged me, pale and haggard looking.

polyhymnia · 16/05/2015 15:53

Simply Be - or other similar retailers such as Evans aimed at 'plus sizes' which are full of poor quality and polyester things.
