Still going strong as we head into 2015. Not a chance I can beat the vol 50 intro from the lovely Dry so I won't even try. Lots of newbies have joined the fun, why don't you? Come tell us your sales splurges. All welcome for fun fashion chat.

Ooo volume 51... The one where I might buy something...

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/01/2015 20:10

Thanks shop!

Is anyone else watching the Frank Sinatra singing contest? Alexander Armstrong is amazing Shock

I don't own any mini skirts. To me they don't fit into my lifestyle. I can't wear them to work, and I wear dresses to go out, and jeans casually. I would like to be able to wear them though!

muddlingalongquitenicely · 03/01/2015 20:16

Im here just got back from too many kir royales and now watching nanny mcphee

Karbea · 03/01/2015 20:17

I used to wear skirts I really like them, but haven't for a long time. They could actually be a really useful thing to wear for work as I could wear thick black tights and a skirt, slip the skirt off and wear tights under my work trousers for warmth.

QueenCardigan · 03/01/2015 20:21

I'm here but slightly squiffy after wine out with tea with dc and now prosecco with dh....

OneLittleLady · 03/01/2015 20:22

I wear quite short skirts and probably shouldn't given the size of my thighs but eh, who cares Grin

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 20:22

So come on all, new thread and all that. Who wants to share their next 2 planned purchases?
When I next spend (which is a while off) I would like a black tux / blazer, some black suede heels, and there'll need to be a new breton for Spring. Bring on the great breton hunt of 2015 ladies!!

OP posts:
Karbea · 03/01/2015 20:24

I need to buy 3 or 4 home phones

OneLittleLady · 03/01/2015 20:25

hmmm, next planned purchases are some more cashmere, i would love some in purples, blues and black and some more jersey dresses of some kind. there could be more though, I'm trying to narrow down my searches atm for my mini spree next week!

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 20:28

BrandyAlexander · 03/01/2015 20:44

I think I only had a planned purchase the whole of 2014 and that was my coat!Shock

Alsoflamingo · 03/01/2015 20:47

Next purchases….. not sure. Am definitely in pruning mode so trying not to even think about any new additions. But suspect will be tempted by the full on navy onslaught that is supposed to be coming our way. Am BIG fan of navy may have sad fantasy that I might morph into Audrey Hepburn if I wear enough of it and think there often isn't that much about. Starting with a proper deep French navy bag. Ideally a cross body small, but not too small one. Followed by some chic flat footwear - not exactly sure what. Drowning in ballet flats and nothing wrong with them. But fancy something different. Can't get my head around loafers and think maybe only good if you have tiny girly feet. A pretty brogue maybe…… [stares wistfully into the distance]

santamarianovella · 03/01/2015 20:47

Shiny new thread, so fresh
Planned purchases, I would like black heels, maybe Rossi, and a good jacket or blazer, I won't spend anything till march,so will save to get really good blazer

I wear skirts, but they are nightmare to buy, my last one was a Marni, love the pattern and length and have worn it few times now, would like a skirt like that for spring too, and maybe a day dress, somthing easy, like shirt dress,

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2015 20:52

I went a bit mad in the sales - some jeans, a skirt, a cashmere jumper, a bag, a purse, some make up, some PJs and these beauties. I've now vowed that, other than charity shop buys, I can only buy off a list for the next couple of months.

The list is:

a red shirt, dress or jumper of some sort
a thin black polo neck
either some trainers or a new pair of Converse
a black silk shirt
silver earrings
a grey tube mini skirt if I ever see a nice one

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 20:52

Oh and some heeled black knee high boots, if I can find a pair at a good price, which are slim of calf.

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 20:53

Hi Remus nice to see you again. I'm loving your Pins at the mo. :)

Hello, hello. Why, thank you. :)

Karbea · 03/01/2015 20:58

Not that big we are just lazy.
I definitely want a blazer, but will decide on colour after hoc. And some boots and some strappy heels.

santamarianovella · 03/01/2015 21:03

I doubt it will be fun for either one of us shop. Smile , it's hard.

Does this scream patsy stone?

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 21:08

I think so Santa sorry :(

shopafrolic · 03/01/2015 21:14

I've been keeping my eyes out for blazer and heels for about 2 years now. So classic it's going to be hard to get right.
