Mine's a bit like this one Fooogle, quite traitional but it's very versatile. I wear it loads in the spring/autumn over dresses and skirts. I quite like the way it dresses down an outfit.

I do like the collarless ones too though for a smarter look.

I was going to say Hush too Roots but they're about £15 each.

MrPop · 25/01/2015 08:52

Roots saw these on the jigsaw website - some colours on sale.

I also have HnM ones but have had them for years, long and stretchy - mine have accommodated a pregnancy belly and pinged back into shape the same can't be said for my belly

rootsradicals · 26/01/2015 08:59

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. MrPop, I like the look of the jigsaw ones but I think the lace wouldn't be so good on me. I'm starting to realise that I need 'plainer' clothes, shame because I love the green one.
I think the problem is that I'm looking too early in the year, I may just get black, white & grey for now and hope that some more colourful ones appear soon.

fooogle · 26/01/2015 10:43

Roots vests
just found the other colours but all sold out Sad Did you spot them before. Bloomin things were reduced as well!!

Stokey, that looks like a nice jacket. Did you find MuuBaa comes up small? I may gamble on one on ebay but maybe that is silly... Have three coming from ASOS which no doubt will not be quite right. That particular one looks good as it isn't too cropped which I don't like so much on me as have particularly long body and shapely bum !

Today= checked grey and black a line skirt Hobbs, white long sleeve, silver grey cashmere V neck, chunky marni style black grey and blue necklace from charity shop last week... One of my Kryolan palette of lippies in LC009 I think.

Tried Ellis Faas lippie on in liberty on fri in the colour that is meant to be blood red and suit everyone. It looked quite orange I think.
Also NARS, fire down below (snigger), red lizard and European express were interesting.

fooogle · 26/01/2015 20:12

Sorry to be such a rambler!

ItIsntJustAPhase · 26/01/2015 22:42

Foogle, no need to apologise!

I am wearing much more summery colours today. A sort of dusty blue grey top with a blue and grey patterned scarf (with mustard yellow) and burgundy lippie (HOC 50). I still look fine.

I also wore a sort of coral, peach and pink scarf the other day (some spring colours, worried me a bit) but the burgundy lipstick balanced it out and I looked nice.

I really think this system has taught me what to look for, so I an see when something is off and sort of correct it.

Still feels very daring breaking the rules, though. Grin

QueenCardigan · 27/01/2015 10:13

Ooh you rebel itisnt Grin

No news from me. I'm ready for spring now. I've got a few three quarter length blouses/jumpers that I want to wear as I'm getting bored of winter clothes. Today I'm wearing navy patterned blouse, damson cardi and jeans.

fooogle · 27/01/2015 10:46

The saga of the biker jacket continues...! Got three from ASOS yesterday, all very similar but subtly different on. Thinking actually the cheapest one is the most 'classic' but hard to say what the heck I mean by that. Will try and post a head lopped off pic later if I feel brave - it is this jacket . Looks better in the flesh though the zips a bit crunchy. The more I look around though the more there are hundreds I fancy...eeek. Could be the next red lipstick! Hmm

fooogle · 27/01/2015 11:00

this and then this
The muubaa one I am not sure if I like the not quite black ness of it but the leather is nice. The Mango one, leather is great but didn't look that exciting (I did size up which was maybe unnecessary...). The collar is also wired which is odd...

fooogle · 27/01/2015 11:02

What do you think about this? another !

fooogle · 27/01/2015 11:05

And lastly, looking at this curve ball hmm Someone stop me! Confused

NeitherHereOrThere · 27/01/2015 11:18

You really need to try these on I think - the next biker came but its going back as although the fit is good & the PU leather is very realistic, the silver zips are a tad too shiny for me....

fooogle · 27/01/2015 12:02

Neither, yes the silver hardware is a tricky one. The one I got from Topshop had kind of gunmetal coloured zips which I thought was good but then partner thought it looked too 'fake'. Yes, trying on is the key though it seems like lots of money to outlay and have coming through your door but I cant get to rl shops often.
Are you ordering another neither ? The ones in the sales are good bargains I guess.

NeitherHereOrThere · 27/01/2015 19:27

Foogle - not sure, I don't want to be ordering loads of jackets and have the hassle of returning these.

NeitherHereOrThere · 27/01/2015 19:28

(and let me know if you have found one to keep!)

didireallysaythat · 27/01/2015 20:45

Quick question - anyone seen calf length black boots online ? A lot of online places have moved to sandals and tkmaxx only had wellies today which isn't my idea of work attire (yet..)

QueenCardigan · 27/01/2015 21:18

foogle I really like the curve ball. It's hard to comment upon the others as probably need to see irl to what the leather is like.
didi clarks have boots in the sale online. M&s had lts of boots in store still so possibly online too. Next deginitely have lots of boots online. No idea if any of them have calf length though.

fooogle · 27/01/2015 22:34

new look had someone line i noticed didi

Did I link this ?! Taebaek Muubaa jacket? Sorry can't link as iPad playing up. Currently I have four bikers jackets in my house on trial, this on its way... queen I like the Jane Norman one too (never shop there!) though suede is a bit sensitive isn't it.... Hmmmmmm

fooogle · 27/01/2015 22:37

This is one of the many...

NeitherHereOrThere · 28/01/2015 08:58

Thats a lovely one fooogle

Stokey · 28/01/2015 09:55

I like the one you're wearing Fooogle it looks great. Which one is it?

Personally I wouldn't get suede as one of the main times I wear mine is in the rain in spring/summer.

I'm not a big fan of the belt round the middle in the Taebaek one but I'm quite short wasited. Both the other Muubaa and the Mango look good, bit it is hard to decide.

fooogle · 28/01/2015 10:09

Thanks Winters. Sorry, I feel a bit silly with myself now emblazoned on the board, not quite sure what I was thinking! Blush
It's the Pull and Bear one Stokey...I know what you mean about the Taebaek Muubaa one with belt, could be good could be awful (I have a long waist so it'll prob' be over my non boobs!
I quite like the really really traditional ones but they have belts at the bottom of them and I have wide hips so its prob not sensible to have a belt there? can dream !!!

fooogle · 29/01/2015 10:20

Trying a new colour combo today, black skinny cords, burgundy heattech, chunky cashmere cardi in nearly forest green and a pine green long h and m vest. Blooming chilly though!

mimiasovitch · 29/01/2015 15:49

Sounds lovely fooogle. I'm in an almost constant search for pine green. One day I'll find the perfect colour/item combo.
Today I am in black thermal top, black thermal tights, purple knit dress, long black chunky cardi and black biker boots, with a red, magenta and black scarf. Still cold.
