Thank God for smartphone. I can just ignore the stares! It is a bit odd being out solo....

shopafrolic · 27/09/2014 21:05

Oh Lib! That's rubbish. Hugs for you.

MarshaBrady · 27/09/2014 21:05

Oh Lib we're with you. What a pita though! Are you cross at him?

LinusDKD · 27/09/2014 21:06

Good for you liberty. Hopefully he will apologise, am sure he overreacted because of the drink and probably feels awful now. Wine

Hi all, thanks Linus for new thread. Just been catching up as I was quite hungover yesterday. Thursday was fun though, the shoes got lots of compliments and I managed to keep them on for about 7 hours :)

Hope you're having fun Dry, love the new shoes.

Shame about the blazer Marsha, hope you find the perfect one (or get the SL one!)

Shop well done on the flatpack! Wink

Lib that kind of overreaction would make me feel wild, I'm afraid. It is SO inconsiderate when you have dc and make an effort to go out. Grr for you and Flowers for you.

LinusDKD · 27/09/2014 21:15

I can understand you being pissed off liberty! It's not on ruining a rare night out for the two of you.

Can you call a friend to keep you company for a bit?

shopafrolic · 27/09/2014 21:20

Oh Liberty will your Mum have words with him? Was he drinking at home? Does he recognise that he is drinking too much?

LinusDKD · 27/09/2014 21:25

Pm as well liberty!

Hugs liberty, that sounds hard. Hope I didn't sound flippant before. At least he texted you rather than ignoring you. I hope he talks with you about it soon. Flowers

OneLittleLady · 27/09/2014 21:52

Big hugs liberty sounds tough Thanks Thanks

libertychick · 27/09/2014 22:08

Thanks all. I'll be OK. Really appreciate the support.
You didn't sound flippant Blair

bettykt · 27/09/2014 22:17

Oh Liberty that's not on at all, really sorry you didn't get the night out you deserve. Hope you manage to speak with him soon and get to the bottom of it all. Big hugs and have another glass of Prosecco.

Karbea · 27/09/2014 22:26

liberty alcohol really is the cause of so many problems. It's a ticking time bomb for society :S I don't drink at all anymore.

OneLittleLady · 27/09/2014 22:35

karbea I don't drink either but it's for medical reasons. Many of my 'friends' have dropped me since I haven't been able to drink, apparently I'm boring and no fun to be around when I'm sober Hmm
