I've seen so many blogs where they are either so up there own ..... they cant see the sun or reality or they just have a blog filled with blatant advertising i just sit back and laugh at them tbh couldn't take them seriously even if i wanted to.
My favorite has to be Wellness Mama hands down but that's just me :)

SWIMTHECHANNEL · 04/09/2014 09:14

Can't say I think much of the M&S trousers (or should that be 'trouser', in fashion speak?) WIT is praising today. They look a bit wide round the bottom and fractionally the wrong length for ankle grazers, to me.

But then, if I knew fashion I wouldn't be looking at the blogs!

dexter73 · 04/09/2014 10:37

She works/pr for M&S and is always praising them up at the moment so I bet they wouldn't be something she would choose if she was buying them herself.

sansucre · 04/09/2014 11:10

LinusDKD That's such a shame re. the skirt Sad

After WIT's post today, I did think it would be discussed on here, and it is!

SWIMTHECHANNEL that's exactly what I thought re. the trousers legs/bottoms/length. She is rather small though so I imagine on taller women they'll be shorter.

On a semi-related topic, I picked up the October issue of Red yesterday, it's awful. The shopping section is particularly uninspiring. It's such a shame Laura left to do other things as I really liked the pages she put together.

SofaCanary · 04/09/2014 11:18

I quite like those trousers, need to be a touch shorter do you think?

SofaCanary · 04/09/2014 11:21

The shape and fabric looks better than those god awful Boden crops that everybody creams their knickers about.

peasandlove · 04/09/2014 11:24

most of those blogs arent about fashion, they're about advertising

toptrumps1 · 04/09/2014 12:08

I used to love WIT, she was a really refreshing change to all the identikit mum/40/schoolrun blogs out there. Lately though she has really upped her personal budget (or just doesn't have one anymore) and her posts read like "look at the shockingly expensive clothes I've bought, aren't I lucky, but don't worry I've found some high street knock off you poorer people can buy". Her latest instagram pic is her and her new business partner in over £1k of shoes between them. Or, she gets great discounts!

ZaraW · 04/09/2014 15:55

Does anyone actually believe M&S is her favourite store?! That is one of the reasons I find her fake just admit you are working for them and J Crew.........

WipsGlitter · 04/09/2014 16:08

Has she said what the new business is yet?

I'm sure she is getting massive discounts and gifted stuff.

I was going to post yesterday about bloggers who 'travel' being gifted freebies but never admitting it. I have three on instagram who've recently stayed at the four seasons in various places, and the mulia in bali. Today I see the Londoner has posted from the Four Seasons Grin I guess you're all right about her. The others were peaceloveshea and Tuulaa. Another one who must give out loads to bloggers is ferragamo I've seen several banging on about their new fav watches

CowPatRoberts · 02/12/2014 15:13

peasandlove The Londoner really is the absolute pits, personally for me the worst thing she does is buy knock-off designer handbags/shoes then affiliate link to the real thing. Cookies stay on your computer for 30 days so even if you don't buy the same thing, if you purchase from that site within the 30 days she gets money from it.

Oh! And don't forget the boob job. I've got no problems with cosmetic surgery but her line is "if you feel like you need plastic surgery you're better off spending the money on a shrink"

FrugalFashionista · 02/12/2014 18:41

WIT - used to really like her but her Rockstuds go with nothing and the Chanel bags are just unimaginative and the lacy culottes The blog is pushing more and more sponsored content - with all those corporate agendas and sponsored posts, all creativity and spontaneity is lost. I don't mind linksynergy but infomercial style is such a turn-off.

Poppy's Style - Big Boo from Orange is the New Black.

Most mum blogs tend to do endless permutations of two or three basic outfits. I'm looking for inspiration, ideas and a dose of escapism.
Le Catch and The Northern Light are still my favorites.
Great budget and everyday choices: The Frugality.
Also think Belinda's Workwear Edit is doing a great job.
