Lol. It's gross.

lurkingaround · 02/07/2014 19:46

Gross indeed. Grin
Strange what people get up to alone, in a public pokey changing room, with a flimsy, sometimes doesn't close properly curtain, and lots of other people around.

GretchenWiener · 02/07/2014 19:50

It must thrill them

lurkingaround · 02/07/2014 19:53

It must. Yeuch.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/07/2014 20:22

Here is the New Look T shirt link but it's old stock so sold out www.newlook.com/shop/womens/tops/grey-roll-sleeve-t-shirt_273162804. Will see if I can find a current link. Anything to avoid thinking about naked change room crazies.

meriboo? Yes it's the same skirt from Zara Part 4 in Part 5. Its so fab that I kept it on for a while. However, it's not lined, so maybe best for bare leg days? Unless you can get a slip or the like, else will stick to and ride up w tights.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/07/2014 20:25

Here they are in a 2 for £9 deal, these ones are pure cotton, so I think it was good that I sized up to 12, as I seem to recall shrinking them in 40C wash www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jersey-tops/grey-roll-sleeve-plain-t-shirt_310341204

MotherOfFerals · 02/07/2014 22:34

Belinda, any idea on a code for non sale j crew codes?

MotherOfFerals · 02/07/2014 22:54

Non sale j crew clothes.
Duh.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 03/07/2014 05:39

No, sorry mother, I don't have any other codes. I wish I did.

MissBeehiving · 03/07/2014 06:23

Thanks for posting the &OtherStories silk blouse, it looks very promising. I bought a couple of silk shirts from BR last week and whilst lovely are still see through ish - what does everyone wear under them? Is it better to go for a white or nude vest?

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 03/07/2014 06:45

Further discounts at Banana Republic, today: use code BRMORE for an extra 20% off 2 sale items, an extra 30% off 3 or more sale items.

BeeHiving - I use either white or nude, but white is more "stand out" that you have a vest on underneath. However, I wear white bras, not nude bras, so usually wear a white vest.

GretchenWiener · 03/07/2014 06:58

I like me elephant shorts

margaritasbythesea · 03/07/2014 07:07

The blouse is not completely opaque but better than most. I don't want people to be disappointed. I think for £33 it is excellent. I like the blue too!

maybemyrtle · 03/07/2014 11:53

My Stories silk blouses arrived and after an epic trying on session I'm keeping the beige 10. The white is quite a soft white in my opinion and the beige is unsurprisingly much more opaque and won't need a vest I don't think. I am not large of chest but I'd recommend sizing up if you are. I particularly like the pleating at the cuff, it's a nice detail that I hadn't really noticed before ordering.

wiltingfast · 03/07/2014 13:36

Wow! Just spotted this thread, didn't realise you were all still chatting!!

I got a fabulous dress from Karen Millen for work, I bought it full price alas but it really is much nicer than it looks in the photo, knee length on me (5'4ish) and such great quality compared to my usual purchases, I'd highly recommend it!

I was told it was a wool/silk combo but site says it's made from polymide whatever the hell that is... Confused

Plus it's true to size, usually KM is a bit small ime anyway...

wiltingfast · 03/07/2014 13:38

AND i see & other stories are now shipping to IRELAND! Yay!

NumptyNu · 03/07/2014 14:56

Hi all, quick question about Boden's ravello top. I'd like the ivory, but it's sold out. I'm wondering if the silver might do. Has anyone bought it in silver? How would you describe the colour?

Any Boden pros out there - will they re-stock all the colours do you think? Given that it is such a popular top?

GretchenWiener · 03/07/2014 15:35

Not till autumn

margaritasbythesea · 03/07/2014 17:09

maybemyrtle. I'm glad you liked one of them. Can I ask whether it is a warm pinky beige or a yellowy coffee type beige? It looked the latter on the website, but you can never tell.

maybemyrtle · 03/07/2014 17:51

Hmm. More yellow than pink, but more neutral than warm/cool to my eye. On the packaging it was called "Wet Sand" and I thought that was a good description. I could have happily kept both colours really but decided that would be excessive.

I picked up these at an M&S outlet earlier this week and they're fab. Lovely weighty stretch cotton and flattering. A few sizes available online but they had loads at the outlet shop.

margaritasbythesea · 03/07/2014 19:55

Thanks very much. Doesn't sound like I could pull it off, but I'm glad you like it. I agree, btw, the white is not pure white, definitely off white if not cream.

margaritasbythesea · 04/07/2014 12:34

Flash reduction of sale prices at Baukjen. Some things are actually affordable Shock, such as wrap dresses for £39.

Littlepinkpear · 04/07/2014 13:45

Hello checking in and catching up today, had a mammoth week with DD2. We've hit 10 weeks and she is still here, despite her lack of sleeping.

I realised Eve AWO and I have very similar tastes. She has the coast heels (still haven't arrived) and the pink Zara jacket I bought. I just wish the rest if my wardrobe was as fab as hers!

I have been asked to go into work in a few weeks to speak with some academics, so I will actually have to get workwear on. Might be a chance to wear the coast heels and my BR shirt I ordered.

I also picked up a lovely necklace from next but I can't find it online. Will try to post a pic.

Belinda - I tried the green Zara jacket, my sister just said its Doreen!!! When I left the cubicle :)

The lack of sleep by young children is it's own special hell. I love Eve, and her style. I saw the green biker again at Zara, today, and didn't even pick it up. Disturbingly bright. I still haven't worn the Coast heels - it's DD1's birthday party tomorrow - maybe that's the perfect occasion Wink. Actually, the DDs would love it. But I still think "no".

Littlepinkpear · 04/07/2014 21:43

MY COAST HEELS ARRIVED Smile
I love them, not sure if they are me but they are damn comfy and very pretty. Going to try again tomorrow with a dress and not my harem trousers.
