Oh and shop I have the chestnut pistols and the colour is just loooovely and goes with everything. You get used to the way they look on your feet too. But I suppose it depends if you would wear flat or heeled boots more.

Stokey I have the Next harems in both navy and black and bought them for travelling in, they are super comfy

Just come back from sports day at dc school, what a swizz there were no obvious winners so crikey knows who they decided was the winning colour.

Off out to dinner tonight and don't really have much in the way of summery going out clothes. I fancy wearing these leopard print shoes as I've only worn them once and they hurt like crazy but it means wearing black trousers which are a bit too wintry. Dilemmas dilemmas, will need a bit of a re-think, as I never did get round to buy a white summery skirt.

Popped into J-Crew, the sale has properly started now but most stuff 40% off. I got this maxi skirt and a strapless maxi dress. I'm not sure I'll keep the dress, I need to try it on at home with a strapless bra but the material on both is great.

Just been out for a pedicure, couldn't subject you to my skanky feet at the mu! Need to do my packing today, should be focusing on interview outfit but keep thinking about Saturday and possible weather conditions.

liberty sounds like you have lovely memories of your hen do. Mine was a more sedate affair as included several pregnant ladies but think it was the last time I went clubbing (5 years ago!)

blair I've told a few people where I'm going, not many though as wouldn't want anyone trying to find me here. Dh mentioned completely randomly yesterday that my engagement ring looked like it needed a clean and I thought for a second he'd been checking up on me! He wouldn't be that sneaky though.

Anyway, off now to sort out my packing.

Just checked the weather forecast and it says rain on Saturday. Boo. That will change my outfit as don't want to get soggy feet!

I love how much everyone plans what to wear. I will wake up, look out of window, decide and then run late for my train as I always do. Panic that I'll miss my 10am hair appt, make it on time. Figure everything else out from there. I've never been to the venue before so had better take a map! Hope it's good (was recommended to me by a few people but you never know.....)

Ok so the Pippa bag is gorgeous, colour, quality, size, everything. Really really love it, so pleased I bought it, now just to work out when to use it and when to use my Boxer SoyYo if you can, go for it, you won't regret it.

Glad you love your Pippa Blair. It's gone now in blue which I had hinted at DH to get me for my birthday - never mind, he hates handbags so it was probably never going to happen anyway.

Talking of peppa, I saw this in john Lewis yesterday. I really like it but I'm better off with either a large bag that I can stuff kids things into or just a cross body for school run. I don't really have need for a medium sized bag.

dry are you coming straight down to meet everyone? I've factored in an hour or two shopping again so could be like a drowned rat when I meet you all. I've asked dh for a figure of money knowing he'd never agree but hoping he gives me half of it . He asked me why, when I knew this shopping trip was coming up that I hadn't saved money. Er, because you give me enough each month for food/ nursery/stuff for dc etc but there's no extra left to save . I love him really . Anyway he was asking who I'm meeting and I told him the real names of the people I've already met and realised that I don't know the name of the people that I haven't yet met. Feel free to pm your names!
