Thanks Marsha and Liberty. Why did you have to wear nice knickers? Am intrigued.

Shop how exciting. I love a good pair of boots. Could you squeeze in a trench or does that take you over budget?

Santa'Grin I'm with you on the trench, would love a good quality one.

Novice did your dh reply?

annielewis · 01/07/2014 23:27

liberty that sounds like a great dresscode for a hen night!!! Grin

shop how exciting waiting for that little lot to be delivered.... have fun narrowing it down and trying it all on...

QueenCadbury · 02/07/2014 07:00

I'm joining santa and saying slow down shop Grin. Don't be in a rush to spend it. If there's nothing that you really want then hang onto it for a bit. AW has only just begun and there'll be more fabulous things in the shops soon.

betty had a great time volunteering thanks. She's a woman after my own heart and loves shopping even if it's just browsing. I was amazed how much the stock in m&s had changed in the 3 weeks since we'd last gone there. Saw some lovely navy boots but sadly the heel is too high for me.

Does anyone else's dh not notice if they've had a haircut? I had mine done yesterday and he hasn't said a word. I presumably haven't had much cut off the length as normally he moans if it's too short Grin.

novice I like your style of sending dh that text. I've just asked dh if he'd like to give me some spending money for London. Getting v excited and was checking out my route there/back to the station. Is everyone eating there?

Decameron · 02/07/2014 07:32

Ha at no effing stackable rings! What about the chestnut pistols, Shop, won't that colour really work with your existing wardrobe? I think the bag you bought recently is nicer than the Kors or Pashli. All the AW stuff will be coming in very soon, I'd buy boots and keep the remainder for a while.

QueenC, DH doesn't notice haircuts either but I am still growing out the layers from new hair when DD2 was born (and she was 3 in June!).

LinusDKD · 02/07/2014 07:36

Morning!

Eurgh, feel rotten. Slept badly, sore throat still, coughing and the eczema on my hands had flared up again.

The weather is awful here so for the first time in months I am wearing my J Choo bikers and I still love them. Might take them to London depending on the weather forecast.

Hope one of the boots you ordered will be The One shop! But if not, I'm sure A/W will have plenty of goodies in store.

Lol at santa! Grin

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 07:38

OMG!!!! Paul Sculfor just liked one of my Pins! Do you think it's really him? Swoon.

LinusDKD · 02/07/2014 07:45

Maybe shop, maybe Grin

I pretty sure the Margot Robbie following me on Pin is not the real one...

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2014 08:06

Ok, after swooning at the Effing stackable rings, I'm now doing a big u turn since someone said they tarnish. No,no,no effing stackable rings but they are v pretty Shop
Wish I could come to Bicester Village with you, have always fancied a trip bit far Sad
Have just decided to speak to DS the same way he speaks to me in the morning Grin.... Bloody hard work all that grunting and being obnoxious Grin, back to being friendly and polite now Smile

liberty fab dress code.

Fedupnagging · 02/07/2014 08:09

Morning all,

Shop, glad your dog is on the mend. I think I'd probably go for shoes and/or bag as am rather prone to wrecking clothes whatever the price.

I do have quite a few clothes that are years old that I love and really suit me although thanks to you lot, I did have a massive clear out earlier this year. However, I do have a nightshirt which is just over 20yrs old Shock. Dmum made it when I was pg with ds1 to take to hospital and it is the most lovely cotton lawn fabric and is so soft. It is however mahoosive but still in great condition. I will shed a tear when it finally goes.

Liberty, your hen do sounds intriguing, please tell.....

Lovely morning here. Am just about to walk the dog across fields so beautiful this time of year, I dream I'm in France! Will catch up with other posts later.

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 08:37

Linus PLEASE feel better soon. :)
Excited for boots to arrive. All 3 are things I liked last AW and still like this year. When I tried the chestnut Pistols with Marsha in Liberty I thought they made my feet look quite big. I've ordered the black this time to try (so that all 3 pairs came from NaP) will see how I feel but I think the Jimmy Choos might be better. There won't be much change left over if I do go for them. Blush

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 08:39

Betty it would be trench or boots (unless I get the F&B boots) - can't get both.
Turq thanks for the tip off on MV jewellery - I have had issues with my bracelet and it sounds as though that might be worse with the rings.......

MarshaBrady · 02/07/2014 08:48

Shop I have the same thing with pistols, they make my feet look huge. I have high hopes for your Choo bikers. They are definitely a big treat and exciting as not around as much.

QueenC yes I think we are all eating.

Ds took ages to get ready for school and I distracted self by chuckling over the effing stackables. Grin

Love, love my Fendi navy bikini. Loads more than the black. Pleased at how it's worked out- cheaper on sale and better colour!

AmberNectarine · 02/07/2014 09:18

Yes mara it was the Toga buckle boots. I pinned them back in Feb, so it's nice when you get something you've listed after for 70% off!!

BrandyAlexander · 02/07/2014 09:28

shop I really want the choo bikers so can't wait to see what you also make of them. It's Linus who has them right? she loves them.

speaking of Linus, you poor thing, hope you feel better.

I woke up still chuckling over Santa's postGrin

Betty, dh just laughed when he came in. it was well after midnight, poor thing was knackered. He will probably check his online card today Grin

MarshaBrady · 02/07/2014 09:33

Linus I really hope you feel better soon.

Novice I think I saw some of your bling float past on pin, good work Grin

Mara that was a great guess there!

Yep 70% off on something you really wanted is always fab imo.

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 09:35

QueenC I'm (as always) definitely eating!

LinusDKD · 02/07/2014 09:36

The Hush harem trousers arrived just now and they are lovely.

I would have liked the charcoal colour to be more grey than brown but I will probably keept them on all day. Grin

Hope they pass the baggy knees test!

Stokey · 02/07/2014 10:21

Good to know Linus. Hope you're feeling better.

I was thinking about getting the Next ones but they are proving tricky to fin . Thought they would be good on plane and possible cool evenings. Kicking myself for not buying the black ones on Tuesday as thought I could get the navy ones on the web but it is a 2 week wait.

Stokey · 02/07/2014 10:21

Tricky to find, only big sizes left.

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 11:04

Good stuff on the bikini Marsha - well played!
Linus I like the look of harem trousers but not sure I could carry the look off.

libertychick · 02/07/2014 11:11

Hen night included private belly dancing lesson! And a photo shoot! All the attendees were given aonth of the year and told to bring an outfit to style me in and then they made a calendar with the photos. The April one was an easter bunny is me in just my undies with a Bunny tail and ears. June was tennis skirt etc. Night ended in Covent garden. Was so good. Loads of great party games and presents. They put so much effort into it. The friend who took the lead in organising it died 2 years ago in some ways the night means even more thinking back on it as its hard to remember all the fun I had with her without getting choked up.

Fedupnagging · 02/07/2014 11:45

What a fab hen do your friends organised Liberty. Sounds like you had lots of fun. Your memories are now bitter sweet but a lovely way to remember your friend.

Linus hope you feel better ASAP. You need to be well for Sat!

Queen, I will be eating. Gone are the days when I can drink more than a couple of glasses of wine without food and not nod off.

Shop, exciting purchases - will there be a live unwrapping?

We have just been invited to a BBQ sat pm by a good friend. I declined but then had to explain where I was going. So told a teeny weeny white lie by saying I was meeting an old work colleague from London who had moved up north. Had you in mind Dry as think we're similar ages. Explained she was meeting lots of other people I'd not met before. Grin. Don't want to stray into realms of fantasy too much as I'll forget what I've said!

Today I'm wearing this dress but in purple with some bronze sandals from Jones.

Stokey · 02/07/2014 11:47

Thanks Liberty sounds great - and how nice to have the calendar as a momento.

Shop I thought that too about the harems but I when I tried them on, they were so comfy and didn;t make my bum look big Shock. Tbh think they'll be great as something to change into when I get back from work and want to veg on the sofa.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/07/2014 13:33

Hello all

QueenC I will definitely be eating, will need something to soak up all the prosecco Wink

liberty sounds really lovely, and how wonderful to have so many great memories of your friend.

Good one novice, up the emotional blackmail factor! Smile

fedup I will be telling people where I'm going on Sat, for some reason I don't care if they think I'm odd Grin DP can't talk, as he met some people from online earlier this year to go dirt biking. And I used to game online a few years back and met some friends through that too. Too busy focusing on fashion and shopping now though obv

My Pippa awaits me downstairs, I can't wait to open it. Not sure what bag to bring on Sat, although I've planned my outfit.
