I have just pm'd details of the MU to everyone attending. PM me if I have missed anyone.

Turquoiseblue · 02/07/2014 21:33

Blair, is the pippa lovely? You sound happy with it! Love that.

this arrived and I love the colour and the texture, and the size. It s leather. Outsið is coated so that s good. Tried it on and it s very very 'me'. Great with jeans and tops, and skirt blends well into the colours in my wardrobe and I ll see it used for AW too I d say. BUT there s no internal pockets / divider. I realise I'm so particular aren't i? Can I live with that? Not sure!
Also ordered ruched skirt. Should ve remembered to size down, it s a bit big, but that allows for lots of rushing which is nice too.
JP dress from outnet going back. Bit short, not quite right.
So hmm keep or not the bag?

Betty I like those shoes. Wear them! I ll be safe and suggest bf jeans and top?

Lib, that sounds like a lovely hen, and Thanks sorry to hear about your friend, that s sad.
Stokey l like the maxi! Did you decide re the dress?

Queen, I misread your post - thought you wanted a grey bag to stuff kids into Smile the kids stuff into makes more sense alright.

libertychick · 02/07/2014 21:50

That bag is so pretty Turq. You could maybe get one of those bag organiser things for it?

Stokey meant to say earlier I really like those J Crew buys.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/07/2014 22:02

Hehe, I always give my DP a list liberty. When's your birthday?

Just wondering, how does replying to a PM work? Is it like reply all or just reply to sender? Not that I need to, but have always wondered with these group PMs!

That's a lovely bag turq, yes get a bag organiser, I have been looking at ones from Samorga. Yes I am really happy with the Pippa thanks! It's so me. I've gone from 1 day bag to 3 in a few weeks Confused

I think I will just go straight to the MU venue when I get into town, but I am going to be really really nervous about walking in there Blush don't want to be first or last!

Been browsing wedding venues tonight as I have this idea that if we get that booked soonish then everything else will fall into place. Oh my god, the prices of some of them! It's insane Shock

BrandyAlexander · 02/07/2014 22:06

Hello in car on way home. been entertaining. lots of wine. I almost left my £400 Mary Jane Jimmy choos behind.

OneLittleLady · 02/07/2014 22:14

Speaking of weddings....Dp and I had a semi serious chat and he agrees that getting married is in our future, which for some reason I didn't expect. It's not in the short term plan, which we both agreed on but it looks like it's in the long term plan Grin

shopafrolic · 02/07/2014 22:17

Thanks for sending that Liberty Flowers

libertychick · 02/07/2014 22:22

Birthday in a few weeks Blair, list is definitely the way to go! PM's are a bit rubbish as you can't reply to all, it's just a reply to sender. I cut and paste the group if I want to reply to everyone but then you have to take your own name out and remember to add it the senders name. I'm aiming to be there for bang on 1pm so happy for you to text me to check I am there - I found the first one really nerve wracking too.

The word 'wedding' hikes up the price on everything Confused

Oh that's exciting news One Smile

Novice we'll have to do a shoe, bling and bag check on you on arrival on Saturday and then not let you leave without checking you have it all!!

Turquoiseblue · 02/07/2014 22:40

Never thought of a bag organiser. :) it is pretty isn't it. I really like it. Plus the CS was second to none. And any email I sent they replied to within a couple of hours, just efficient and nice!
Blair, 3 day bags, you re sorted for a while so! Wedding planning made my head spin a bit. It s exciting. We had a really good wedding co ordinator, that sorted the church/ venue/ transport/ hotel/ including all the reception faff. She was the best ever.
You ll have fun.
One - that s lovely news. Congrats.
Lib - so what s on the list?

Fedupnagging · 02/07/2014 22:43

One, that's great news - keep us posted! Hope you are feeling better? Oh and you too Linus.

Glad you are pleased with your bags Blair and Turq. I love both of them.

Think I will stick to my original outfits and just wear ballet flats instead of flat sandals to travel in. Will probably get a cab from KX and change into heels in the car.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/07/2014 22:43

Thanks liberty I may take you up on that offer Flowers I will put your name in my phone as " liberty" hehe.

That's lovely One :)

OneLittleLady · 02/07/2014 22:47

I'm ok Fedup today has been a better day so feeling about as well as I can. Have been very stiff and sore lately and am considering taking up a little yoga again, very basic stuff so as not to over strain myself to see if it will help ease some of the muscle tightness. I'm not expecting miracles as I'm nowhere near as flexible as I used to be and can be sure I can't do a headstand anymore but a bit of beginner stuff might help a little as I can't do any high impact stuff as it just hurts too much plus you can't use a walking stick on an areobics board!

libertychick · 02/07/2014 22:52

Smile Blair that's how I store the numbers of MNV people too!

Turq mostly jewellery on the list - a few bits from the Outnet, Swarovski, Etsy and Alex Munroe - nothing too expensive. Jo Malone candle (he's unlikely to get this as he's horrified at those prices for a candle) and the sheepskin flip flops Stokey linked. I'm assuming he'll spend about £100 as we don't go too overboard with birthdays so he has the option to get me 2 or 3 smaller things or one piece of jewellery.

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2014 22:57

Met office says rain Sat am until 1pm them clearing. I reckon it will change before that and be nice Smile
Going out Friday will try to pace self as early start on Saturday really haven't a clue what to wear. Just dinner at friends but big wine drinkers.. Bored with my clothes and I feel depressed during the fashion wilderness that is sale time Sad.... It will last until September.
I really do need some gorgeous black suede pointy heels, quite love these

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2014 22:57

And me too!

libertychick · 02/07/2014 23:02

Lovely shoes Dry. I'm fed up with sales too - find all the shops way too messy and stressy.

I did buy these today though.

Turquoiseblue · 02/07/2014 23:04

Great list. I love to give dh a list. He gets a few bits from the list then sometimes tries to go 'off piste' - not always successfully!! (But I don't let him know either ) touch screen friendly gloves for my iPhone one year in hideous colours! I try encourage sticking to the list instructions on how to keep me happy since. Ok got to get to bed, work tomorrow,

Drywhiteplease · 02/07/2014 23:05

Nice

QueenCadbury · 03/07/2014 07:36

Woohoo, I've just got the bag I've been stalking. It went on sale the other day but I held out. Today they have an extra 30% off sale prices if you buy 3 or more items so I added 2 pairs of socks to my basket. Very happy. Just hoping it's the right colour and not too turquoise-y.

Turquoiseblue · 03/07/2014 08:01

these sandals are super bargain Grin

Queen - yeay! Off to check out your link

Turquoiseblue · 03/07/2014 08:03

Pooh it's lovely - good stalking Grin

Stokey · 03/07/2014 09:47

Great bag QueenC

and Congrats One - nice to have a long-term plan.

I'm so glad you're getting the flip-flops Liberty, let me know hoe they are & I may indulge too! My birthday is next week & have told asked DH for the MBMJ Natasha, parying he doesn't ignore me & go to TK Maxx again Hmm

The J-Crew dress is going back - seemed to accentuate "armpit" fat and DH (who is normally very complimentary) said it wasn't flattering. But the skirt is great and I'll be wearing it on the plane tonight.

So MNVs, enjoy the meet-up, I am sure you will all look great and I will catch up with all the news next week. I am hoping Shop turns up with Paul Sculfor...

Secretsquirrel13 · 03/07/2014 10:09

Linus and Dry the dp white dress is on it's way to me, in the next size up but for £15 worth a go, please say it comes up small!
One good long term planning
Blair I really enjoyed planning a wedding and was far too controlling to hand it over to someone else, loved our wedding and wish I could have another! Same dh I think but somedays I wonder!!!

Secretsquirrel13 · 03/07/2014 10:15

QueenC nice bag and other nice bags too on BR site.
Have ordered a dress too from next, I don't have much luck with next as they're not cut for pear shapes but will see- debating going out for a new nail colour (need an orangey red) vs waiting in for the courier who should come in the next hour.
Linus/ShopI love my charcoal harems and they're definitely charcoal grey not brown grey. I slob around the house in them but recently went on an emergency milk run to the shops in them and as we got in the car my youngest dc asked if we were going out in pyjamasGrin

LinusDKD · 03/07/2014 10:30

Well done on the bag queenc!

liberty I have a very similar pair of seersucker shorts from H&M and I love them.

secret are your harems also from Hush? Mine definitely have a brownish tinge to them. Shame. Might order the black ones in the sale. Oh and my DS also calls them pj's. Grin

Oh and the DP dress is a bit on the small side in the waist.

Good news one! Maybe you can have a London wedding with MNVoguettes as bridesmaids? Wink
