Gorgeous amber. I wish I could do pointy shoes but they look ridiculous on me.
sleep jewellery only if you're confident she'll like it. Also le pliage, only if you know she'll love the colour. I think a key ring sounds nice.

Wow Amber! So you.

Sleep my mum is a (primary) teacher and always gets chocs, flowers or (cheap!) candles so I'm sure your ideas would go down very well.

I love the colour of your shoes Amber, they will go great with the dress I am wearing right now.

Santa it's always quite heart wrenching when dc have a birthday isn't it? They grow up too quickly, slow down kids.

Can I jump on the teachers' present bandwagon but for a male teacher. I was thinking iTunes vouchers, or a nice bottle of wine but not sure if he drinks.

Yup, Sleep marsha QueenC Betty and all other parents of children at school....the end of term sucks, the end of the school year is worse! counting the days. QC it's not life and death stuff but it's just REMEMBERING it all that's stressful Grin
Sleep please can you send your dcs to my school Smile

Yes but Shop I'm always all calm and organised until 5mins before I'm supposed to leave and then I go nuts, change my mind and start flinging clothes around like a maniac. DH will still be in bed, imagine he'll be left buried under a pile of clothing Grin

Sleep - my cousin is a teacher and gets lots of presents. Something with a gift receipt is always most welcome, she does tend to get lots of wine, soaps, make up pouches and candles. one year she got vouchers for a local beauty salon too, she loved that. Your ideas sound lovely too though. So thoughtful.

Hi, thanks for feedback. Went for a mug each from Anthropologie and Tom Dixon candles in lovely metal containers with marble lids (and gift receipts!)

Haven't had time for fake tan yet...in which case the dress will be out of the question. Have to decide whether to sacrifice my sheets for the cause tonight!

Mara well done getting on your course and lovely DVF dress.

Hope you are having a great day Linus - stroke of luck with the TS shorts.

Oh and Annie you are having a day shopping on your own too so hope you are having a good time as well.

Those shoes are really lovely Amber and fab colour.

Nice gifts Sleep. Lucky teachers.

Forgot to mention the KG boots - great bargain. I'm tempted as they have my size but will resist

Actually I think I'd rather have another 2 weeks at school rather than the kids home for 8 weeks Grin

Fantastic service for BR as the bag arrived today! Love it. It's bigger than I expected but unfortunTely not big enough to put all my stuff in for tomorrow.

good choices sleep ,
betty last year we gave our DSS teacher an amazon gift card, I think male teachers prefer things like gift cards from iTunes/amazon,

I don't have the home for all of those QueenC you can probably tell from my upbeat nature Wink

I get to do the three days of work a week without factoring in the 3.30 pick up, which pretty much means I can do a morning meeting and that's it out of the home Hmm. Will feel like bliss in comparison!

And little ds is still at nursery for another month, so just the oldest one is away. I'll have full 8-6pm stretches to work or not as the case may be.

I am planning quite a few lunches in the sunshine for sure.

Wow, lots of activity on here today! I would love to come to meet up but am too chicken I think and also have a kids birthday party to go to 4-6. How often do you have them? I'd love to come to one at some point!!!

Thanks for the kind words, I think my confidence is just at all time low, I feel like I'm emerging from baby fog and somehow lost myself along the way!! I'm know someone on here said they'd felt the same too! Anyway have had a huge clear out of my wardrobe and ready to start over!

Have you all had your colours done? I did it about a year ago but she sent me an email after the session saying she thought on reflection she'd mis diagnosed me and would I like to go back for a reassessment but I never went because it's not near where I live and I'd lost confidence in her to be honest..

Anyway, I'm having a better day today am at Westfield minus kids and feeling a bit brighter!! I think I just need to get a grip TBH! Grin

Hope you all have a lovely time, look forward to seeing what you all buy in the inevitable shopping during the weekend!

(Sorry that it's all me me me this post, am on phone so can't read back through posts properly!!)

annie that's a shame about the colours thing. You should have persued it even to get your money back. What were you diagnosed as? I had my colours done about 18m ago which was great as it's made me a lot braver with colour. I then had my style day done about 9m ago which consolidated what I already knew I liked but gave me more confidence to wear it. I'm a lot more girly and less edgy than lots of people on here and I often suffered a confidence crisis or felt that my choices were frumpy but the style day gave me permission to wear what I like and what suits iyswim.

Is it raining with anyone else? Has started here and luckily got home just in time to get my washing in.

annie I haven't had my colors done,

Take baby steps, don't buy everything at once, this "inbetween season" is the worst, still lots of sales going around, and you might end up buying lots of things you won't wear in a few weeks time, better to start a fresh ,at the beginning of the new season With new AW stuff,

Looks lovely Linus
DS is poorly! He had a bad night last night (woke me up 6 times) and now he has a cough and a temperature. I swear they know!!! I swear it! Any top tips for bringing down temps in hot weather much appreciated.....

Annie I've been where you're describing. You'll find your way back to a style you love. I had my colours done. It was useful but I don't stick to it religiously. I'd be interested to get a style day done too but have been told I'm Classic Dramatic......
