Cartooooooon! That's it! That's what I meant. Of course.Blush Hello Cartoon! Hmmm bubbles since 5pm. I don't think I am very drunk?

Umm what was I going to say next? Oh yes Shooop! Really sorry but couldn't get your hand cream from Amsterdam airport. Got there early and couldn't find it.

I sent stuff back to Selfridges so thought I could buy bag with the saving. Rubbish sale! Head hurts.

Train after bubbles = bad.

Oh thank you whoever told me it was Cartoon!

Grin at Novice. Sounds like you had a good evening. So did I. It's amazing how meeting up with good girlfriends can cheer a girl up and put things into perspective.

Don't think I'm as squiffy as you Novice though!

Grin novice crackers is probably about right. how is the head this morning?
gosh this thread moves fast, I feel a little lost!
went in search of a cardigan yesterday for layering whilst in Devon, I don't think I'm really a cardigan person, anyway returned with nothing.
anyway apparently the zara sale is on so I'm going to check out the website, I'm determined to spend some money!

Cartoon I like that spirit Grin

Novice hilarious, you write perfectly well but you can tell you are tipsy from here. Grin Hope the head is ok.

Dry my tone was wrong! More I wonder why they made a snowman rather than oi why is that here Wink

Have booked impromptu babysitter, meeting friend tonight. Great! Also get to wear something new - probably MaxMara skirt or a James Perse dress if it's still gorgeous and sunny.

Morning?

Lol novice you were really funny last night.

santa I really like LOGG at H&M for holiday things as they usually are made of cotton. But better check the label to be sure.

Selfridges sale online is pretty boring so I still haven't bought anything in the sales online. Maybe there will still be some bargains in the shops when I come over for the MU...

Novice how are you this morning? No worries on the hand cream - thanks for looking.
Dry meeting was good - school is well set up and they are going to start having settling in days with DS this term so we'll see how that goes. Scary how fast the time is going! I wore GAP khakis with a cream top and Madwell flats (and AH satchel). Felt about right.

I bought this little beauty last night. Possibly not for everyone!!

Dress down day at work today. Am wearing Gap men's Hawaiian shirt, black cropped Goldsigns, pink Nikes and black leather biker. Sounds mental but it works I think

Amber love it, perfect for you.

Secret how were the Zara dresses? Was it you, that lovely floral one with the high neck.

I am wearing C&P stretch skirt, watermelon t and solid pink flats. I can deal with the pink (just! But I'm getting there) because I do the clash on top.

In other news - I'm off for hypnotherapy tomorrow - eek! Anyone ever had any?
I have a bad habit of picking my lip when I'm thinking about stuff - so I'm off to see if this woman can break the habit.

Love that lobster ring Amber? Can i join the Classics party - I did Latin A level and a bit of Greek at Uni (before realising it was HARD and doing Philosophy instead)

Am really impressed by the H&M buys Linus - I was just thinking the other day I had quite a few summer things from them over the years and should go & check it out. Gap too Mara - I agree cheap & cheerful is the way to go for holiday wear.

I was wearing opaques on Tuesday Blush it was cold!

Morning,

I don't understand the little snowman or where he came from!

On train to London, today hard to dress for as have to be semi smart for event tonight but also be comfortable enough for walking round all day. Went for ts white skinnies with yellow sleeveless silk shirt and navy zara blazer. Have gigis on but navy rupert Sanderson heels in bag to change into later. Also channelling novice in the bling stakes with big boodles ring, mikimoto pearls & Hermes bangle. And now it seems to be raining, grr!

Have the urge to buy a bag now that am sending nap stuff back. Wonder if the trio gets discounted? Probably not but may go for a look.

Hi all. I'm sorry I missed drunk novice last night, very funny!

Outfit sounds fab mara.

Never had hypnotherapy shop but I pick/chew my lips sometimes too, since I broke a bad lip balm addiction about a year or so ago!

Had a look in Zara sale but all the things I liked were sold out in my size. I'm also finding that several of the things I wanted in the sales generally aren't reduced at all - what's that about? Hmm I'm disappointed this year so far, as I had tried to plan it a bit rather than impulse buy and it hasn't worked.

Dune pool slides arrived, will open at home :)

Report
Stokey · 19/06/2014 14:48

IIRC Blair hold your nerve - this is just the first set of reductions.

They normally go through to at least start of July (end of Wimbledon!) and will keep reducing.

Someone at work has just had two pairs of shoes delivered - Louboutins and Jimmy Choos Envy

It has been ages since I found anything in TK Maxx but today bought Dune black brogues for £40 and a gorgeous pair of pink multicoloured flats with silver pointy toes for £7! Not on website so can't link sadly.

I hope so Stokey. It doesn't help when I pin this top to my sales wishlist and then this identical top goes into the sale instead which I didn't pin... now sold out of course! Thanks a lot French Connection.

Are you back now turq? Hope you had a great time.

I mean I know it's only £42, but I don't want to pay full price for anything right now... am I crazy?!

Drywhiteplease · 19/06/2014 17:25

liberty I really rate dune shoes! they fit my feet and are good quality for the money. I also like the designs. You got a baragain.
Amber that ring makes me feel a bit odd. Glad you warned me, if I met you wearing it I might have swatted your hand!
shop sounds good. Will he start just mornings or full days? If full days do they let them stay for lunch on their trial day? Love it when the tinies start, they're so cute and cuddly.

MarshaBrady · 19/06/2014 17:27

Blair definitely not crazy! No way to fp right now I say.

I am wearing the jumpsuit out tonight, I might ask too am I crazy?! I hope I feel ok, it's a departure for me.
