Hi All - congrats blair so exciting! I love my engagement ring - the diamonds were inherited from Dh's grandmother and he had them re set for me. Still love catching sight of it on my hand and I've been wearing it for 7 years!!!!

Real life is getting in the way for me again at the moment (probably good for my bank balance as I can't do much sale shopping!!) Am looking after my niece so have 3 under 5yrs!!! Spent the day at the zoo in my M&S harems and a black vest....the glamour never ends!

annielewis · 30/06/2014 22:59

Fedup those first knicker shorts!!!! Shock You'd have to be about 15 and teeny tiny to look good in them wouldn't you? And nerves of steel.... Grin

maradesbois · 30/06/2014 23:10

Evening,

My ds is all better too, thanks shop and betty.

novice your tanzanite ring sounds amazing, can't wait to see whatever bling you decide to don on Saturday! I bought myself a ring from boodles for my right hand last year (dh seems to think his diamond buying is done, hmm) which will not link as very distinctive but will be wearing it to the mu.

libertychick · 30/06/2014 23:13

Congratulations Blair. How exciting. Love all the engagement stories. I feel quite sorry for men. It's a lot of pressure to get it right. DH bought my ring in NY and he knew what I wanted but said it was really stressful as the SA was adamant that it wasn't an appropriate engagement ring! I wear it on my right hand. I didn't want 2 rings on my wedding finger. Proposal happened on beach in Majorca.

WOO HOO!

Been playing sales chicken with these little beauties and today it paid off!!

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 08:19

There are some Rockstud flats amongst the further reductions.......

QueenCadbury · 01/07/2014 09:02

Lovely shoes amber

That's a lovely ring liberty.

I'm volunteering today and wearing some really old gap black cropped trousers. I'd forgotten how good they look .

MarshaBrady · 01/07/2014 09:08

Morning!

I reordered the Fendi bikini in navy.

And I didn't realise if you don't change delivery method it stays the same so it's premier delivery again. It is so fun and a bit naughty to get your shopping delivered by NaP courier at night. I'd change it but then realised that I'm at a meeting tomorrow and out Thursday so it's a good thing.

Love those shoes Amber, they looked very tempting but I most certainly have spent enough lately.

There's a few other things in the sale too, but need to be good.

QueenC and Liberty lovely rings.

Bettyk yes do come to a mu, would be great to meet you.

Shop how's your dog?

Also it's funny as I had the same thought as you this morning QueenC about some J Crew wool shorts these are so old, and I can't find any that I like more.

So, question, what is in your wardrobe that is old but you keep wearing as nothing beats it out there?

QueenCadbury · 01/07/2014 09:25

Some of my cardigans are the oldest things I own. One was bought after ds was born so is nearly 7 years old but I love the colour. It's got a couple of holes in it and a small bleach stain on the arm but until I find another in the exact colour I'm not throwing it away.

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 09:27

Marsha my entire wardrobe was updated when I turned 40 so none of my stuff is that old.
I do have a pair of flat LKB knee high black boots which have served me well.
So DH has had a cracking end of quarter and is dishing out some cash. If you had £750 to spend on a total treat - what would you buy?

QueenCadbury · 01/07/2014 09:32

Wow shop that's fab. Do you just want to buy one thing or several?

MarshaBrady · 01/07/2014 09:33

Shop summer sale or AW? I'd probably go AW with that.

I'm thinking one Queen - something that I could never normally justify? Am tempted by Rockstuds but I'm not sure I can spend that much on shoes?
Dog is doing better this morning - we hope to pick her up later today. She's got an infection so they are giving her antibiotics and want her back at the end of the week - relieved!

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 09:35

Might have to be AW Marsha - the only time I could ever justify something full price!

MarshaBrady · 01/07/2014 09:36

If it were me I'd do one A/W item that is fabulous.

x post!

Yes do coat? Boots? Exciting!

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 09:38

God I've changed Marsha - look what Vogue has done to me!
When I joined this thread I had £1,000 to spend and I bought loads. Now I'm saying £750 - one item Grin

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 09:38

Gorgeous shoes amber

Was also tempted by that Fendi bikini but I don't need another bikini and I am biding my time to find some bargains in London.

queenc talking about holes, I saw the IM Etoile A/W khaki jumper with holes in it. You will be bang on trend.

Saw a gorgeous IM Etoile dress as well for winter...

shop how about a winter coat? They usually cost £££ but if it's a classic you'll wear it for many years.

QueenCadbury · 01/07/2014 09:39

I can't ever imagine spending that much on shoes or any other item either. If I wanted to spend that much on one item I'd probably go for jewellery.

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 09:39

X-post.

Good news about the dog!

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 09:41

acne

Not sure about the shape but the colour would be gorgeous on you shop

MarshaBrady · 01/07/2014 09:41

Ha Shop Grin

How about a gorgeous MaxMara coat? Something with cashmere in it that would be fabulous.

Secretsquirrel13 · 01/07/2014 09:44

Shop I'd buy a bag and shoes. Predictable!
Love the ring stories, Blair congratulations, mine is a classic solitaire also in a Tiffany-esque setting, love it and received it quite by surprise when dh and I were on a graduate training scheme and working 15 hour days then studying for exams at night, couldn't understand why he wanted to go out on a weds night and almost didn't go!
I chose my own eternity ring which is equally lovely and so unusual it would out me completely as I've never seen another.
Was really hot and sunny here yesterday and managed to get slightly burnt which am so cross with myself about, am obsessive about the dc slapping on sun cream.

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 09:52

Not sure I can go with a coat as I have these. I wondered about a Burberry mac but will that cost me more than my budget?
