gorgeous colour but can you wear that type of green?

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 09:55

red and slightly over budget

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 09:57

Depends shop, my Burberry Brit mac would be within your budget.

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 10:03

Need to get my thinking cap on.....
Right - off to the supermarket - glamorous.

Stokey · 01/07/2014 10:19

What about a Burberry Mac Shop? Classic, timeless and you'll get lots of wear out of it.

I got £500 from my Grandfather's will and want to buy one thing with it to remember him. I was debating getting a bag but thought he probably wouldn't approve so am going to get a watch instead.

Marsha I have just packed a summer dress for 'Beefa that I have had years. Here is me wearing it on honeymoon in 2007 - it's just so easy.

Ah sorry x-post re Burberry Mac

annielewis · 01/07/2014 10:23

Oooh shop nice! I'd buy a bag I think - there are so many I am lusting after but can't justify much money at the moment... (we are in the middle of the mother of all house refurbs) Or jewellery... so many possibilities!!

Lovely pic stokey

MarshaBrady · 01/07/2014 10:25

Stokey what a beautiful pic! Very pretty dress.

I love it, you look fabulous and the overall colour is so warm and lovely. I can imagine the fresh sea air!

Beautiful picture stokey!

How about some leather leggings/trousers shop?

Stokey · 01/07/2014 11:25

Thanks guys - I love the fact it's super light, an unusual colour and not tight - perfect holiday wear.

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 11:27

I don't know if you do delicate jewelry but this is lovely and only slightly over budget

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 11:28

lovely and under budget.

LinusDKD · 01/07/2014 11:31

yellow gold and under budget.

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 12:12

Great minds Stokey - fab picture too. So sunny and summery.
Linus love the bracelets - I don't do delicate anything else jewellery wise but I do tend to wear a few bracelets. Leather trousers also a good call - you know me so well!
DH just said I could always put it in the bank Hmm

santamarianovella · 01/07/2014 13:30

Fab shoes amber ,very well done played!,my dress is sold out,but contemplating another, need to think fast, and your ring is beautiful,
liberty so true,dh had no clue,he told me that it was totally nerve wrecking ,your ring is very delicate, and beautiful

stokey beautiful photo, and you look lovely, great dress,

shop go with the trench, you've always wanted one,

Decameron · 01/07/2014 13:45

Shop, do you still want Acne Pistols? You'd definitely get a Burberry Brit for that. I love the Theory leather leggings EveWornout got recently.

Blair, not usually a small bag fan either but was celebrating not having to use a changing bag for DD2 any more! I like the three pockets.

This arrived today, it is not terribly exciting but a good day dress.

I have some DVF and DKNY jackets that are over 10 years old that I still wear, Marsha, they are still in perfect condition, and a top that my mother wore in her twenties that I wear sometimes.

Decameron · 01/07/2014 13:45

Lovely dress and photo, Stokey.

maradesbois · 01/07/2014 16:33

Hello all,

shop you are right on budget for the large size trio! That would be my choice but from what you've been saying burberry mac would be a great investment. Maybe check out burberry outlets too. I have a fab prorsum winter coat from Bicester that was £450 reduced from 2.5k.

stokey lovely pic, you seem to be slipping nicely into holiday mode. Am v envious!

marsha loads of my summer stuff is from years ago. One of my favourites is a black evening dress from celine cruise collection, a sale steal from about 10 years back. Is quite casual with elasticated waist and halter neck but dresses up well with strappy sandals. Also a silk Pucci skirt from same era that I had wanted to wear to the mu but is still a bit tight over the hips. Heading in the right direction though!

liberty lovey ring and engagement story.

amber well played on the AW shoes. I was watching some of his sandals but none left in my size.

Have just been informed that I have an interview for the course I want to do on Thursday, eek. Was not expecting it to be so soon but is in London so planning to have a look around the sales afterwards. Have my eye on 2 things at DVF...

libertychick · 01/07/2014 16:53

Nice one MrShop! You should definitely get the chestnut pistols. And what about a Hermes bracelet to match? Smile

Great picture Stokey.
Marsha I have an oversize grey boyfriend style cardi from Zara that's about 10 years old, it has holes under the arms but I can't let it go until I find the perfect replacement - Santa recently pinned a Isabel Marant cardi which would be the perfect replacement but obviously it's a lot more £££ than my Zara original!

You sound like you have a fantastic wardrobe Mara.

Decam I love that R&B bag, great colour and really practical. WC dress looks very useful.

Drywhiteplease · 01/07/2014 17:12

Drywhiteplease · 01/07/2014 17:17

Anyway you know what I'm meaning.
Marsha like Queen I had a fav red cardi. Perfect fit and colour. It went with so much. Got v tatty and I begrudgingly binned it a few months back. Have 3 other red cardis Shock none match up Sad still searching.

Drywhiteplease · 01/07/2014 17:20

Amber this is the type of shopping I aspire too... I'm a rubbish sales shopper.

shop good news about your dog. X

Decameron · 01/07/2014 18:09

It's a school run dress for sure, Liberty! To use Mumsnet parlance. ;) Your ring is beautiful.

Maredebois, DVF, my favourite!

shopafrolic · 01/07/2014 19:31

Mara I am thinking about asking nursery to keep DS in for a full day next week and nipping to Bicester before term time ends.........
