Love those leopard print shoes Devere. I don't have much animal print but love the bits I do. esp my mn scarf

Dry I enjoyed looking at all those wedding dresses.

SoYo great shopping haul. I forget about Phase 8 sometimes but actually they do have some nice clothes and pretty good sales.

Amber, enjoyed your blog yesterday. You look fab in the photos. Love that stripey dress.

Looking forward to next Sat and am not stressing over what to wear much. I will probably travel in flats and change into heels which means taking a bigger bag but needs must.

I love the week before a MU. There will be a mass "what shall I wear" frenzy.....linus you sorted yet? Think dending on the weather I might wear last night's pencil skirt, block heel sandal, fitted jacket and Gucci hobo combo, think it's very me. That or a dress, pearls and hat

Latest purchase from friends shop. It's so summery. Actually, looks a bit like a tablecloth but I love it.

Just a quick hello from me as need to get ready to go out to lunch. Went out last night and saw some sights . Why do some women wear such high heels that they can't walk in?

Looking forward to next Saturday. Thought I had outfit sorted (navy blouse, jeans) but wore it last night and wasn't entirely happy with it. Is everyone doing heels? Like fedup I will bring them in a bag if so.

Am at missing the MU. Will have to get myself organised to London for the next one! (Me and a massive oversized luggage bag as I ll have to have several wardrobe options and the usual 27 out fit try on s, before finally settling on the first one

Fed up- 3 MUBAAS!!!

Well I hit the shops yesterday and almost everything is going back! Think 2.5 weeks in the sun affected my ability to shop!
Can't link but did get some GaP 'broken in' kakis that are keepers, a few pretty Tees.
Bought codello bag on my pin and scarf am still considering, had hoped the bag would be good for days out with kids!

It is chilly and raining here. Am wearing TS tile print cigarette pants, l/s white t, pink and purple spotty scarf.

I have quite a lot of ds3 clothes to eBay, all TS and Next and virtually unworn so maybe today is a good day to do that.

It has been said before but it always amuses me how much beauty/fashion prep goes into a MNV MU, much more than there ever is for dates with DP's . If it is hot I think I will wear Tart dress with flat Greek sandals....if not I have no idea yet!

I will decide on the day.

I don't think I want to wear what I always do, ie skinnies and t. Will have to work out shoe situation.

And Sleep's lovely dress has made me rethink too!

Happy Sunday everyone! Just caught up as went away to Norfolk coast Fri eve, back home late last night weather overcast but dry (not like today) so lovely long walks on deserted beach yesterday with DH.
Feeling refreshed and ready to face tomorrow's work trip.
One of my friends was backstage with Blondie @ Glasto yesterday and sent me some videos... telling me about the food & hospitality in the VIP areas. Wow!

Fedup yes I had forgotten all about Phase 8 too and have been pleasantly surprised, their sizing runs big though so be aware. Love those tile print trousers!

Linusyes I think I will get the Pippa in black-white for work, last purchase in a while though, have too many clothes/shoes as it is but handbag I actually do need for work.

liberty yes the only Boden thing i kept too were some jammy trousers...like shop I don't know why I bother with them, used to buy lots years ago but for the last 2-3 years most disappointing. Have a crushed velvet coat and other bits from years ago that still love though.

Turq don't get me started on Muubaas! have self imposed ban on looking at their website now as it is all love at first sight and it is just ridiculous with 3 in my wardrobe. I mean how much leather can a girl wear...

Oh yes and another thing I wanted to share; last weekend met up with dear friend @ Tate to see the Matisse cutout exhibition, I loved all of it but most his use of colour ...I'm sure fashion has borrowed a lot from this wonderful artist.
Worth thinking about for putting unusual colour combos together...

Oh yes...after beach walk popped into small (cheap) independent clothes shop with DH, just to browse you know... picked up pair of cheapy denim shorts, quite short actually but not indecently so.
DH approved and so will keep for beach walks and a festival I am going to later in July...my legs are still decent and at my age they will probably go nextso I thought why not?

I may turn up at the MU as a total scruff. I need a hair colour, pedi and brows done and have absolutely no time this week to go to hairdresser etc...I've decided DIY is the only way to go so will dye my hair later today. My main preparation though will be getting to bed by 10pm every night this week - I am so tired I'm at risk of falling asleep on someone's shoulder after a few drinks

Turq I really do want to wear the red dress but I am decidedly podgy looking ATM and I'm a bit self conscious about it. My fall back outfit if I'm not feeling brave on the day will be Asos Brady boyfriend jeans with a white T and a jacket (not sure which one), M&S silver slingbacks and then I'll buy everyone extra drinks so they don't notice the size of my ass

I can see this thread has had so many editions that people seem to know each other quite well, and from my limited experience you are all so kind and welcoming...just don't worry,what a fab way to make new friends.
Have FUN, I love fashion but would never dream of judging my friends on what they choose to wear...in fact some of them are so completely unbothered about their look I frankly admire them!

I've met at least half of the people who are coming to this MU before SoyYo and you are right, they are a lovely group and I'm really looking forward to meeting the others. I just rarely get a chance to dress up so i was looking forward to wearing a dress . I have no doubt it will be a blast. Where are you based? Any chance you could come? It's an open invite to anyone who posts on here...

We re always out own worst critics aren't we? I feel it too after holiday at the moment, dh says I m bonkers! But my favourite skirt was straining there. I cut out bread, and the twice daily ice cream and prosecco habit of holiday since coming home and am almost back to normal.

It s lovely and sunny here today. I m in pied a terre flat black sandals, pleated white skirt, black silk/ cotton v neck tee, tan Marc Jacobs handbag.

I'm not crazy about the jacket Marsha but would probably need to see it on a model to know for sure...re the jeans - whichever is cheapest! I think you'd look fab in both

This morning DS woke up without a fever for the first time since Tuesday! Hope he's over the worst now.

SoYo, this is my first mu - not met anyone before from MNV hence the slight nervousness over outfit. Daft at my age though!

Popped to the local DIY store with dh earlier and came away with this rather lovely jacket. (Laura ashley outlet store is next door). I will wear it a lot and it will tie a couple of options together for the mu. I also picked up this top but not totally sure I will keep.

Nice IM jacket Marsha and really like the coat too Linus.

Which airport Linus? If it's Heathrow then the Paddington express is very fast.
