annielewis · 24/06/2014 18:52

Oooo need to catch up on thread!! Some lovely links, it's a no from me in the fleecy flipflops too though I'm afraid!!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/06/2014 18:54

mara noooo I think I just know her style well! I must read too many blogs. Trip away to the country sounds lovely.

Nice sandals cartoon, typical they aren't in the sale yet.

I'm not a massive perfume wearer, atm I wear coco mademoiselle but only own 2 others, one of which an ex bought me when I was 18 Shock

Off out to dinner tonight with DP, DSis, and her boyfriend to give them their Vegas presents :) As soon as the football is over that is!

MarshaBrady · 24/06/2014 19:30

I don't wear perfume either really.

Quick question, I don't suppose anyone knows when NaP are likely to do further reductions? I guess it must be two weeks after to allow for returns, no idea really.

Stokey Those sheepskin flip flops look so comfy but so wrong somehow.

Mara, that's sounds lovely! enjoy.

I used to wear rive gauche for every day use and Chanel no5 for evening wear. I then went off wearing perfume when I was pregnant (anyone else find this?) and didnt wear it for years. I now wear it daily - Jo Malone citrus'y scents, lime basil and mandarin is my current favourite.

Blair enjoy your evening.

MarshaBrady · 24/06/2014 19:51

Cartoon and Shop great sandals.

Mara I love the sound of your outfit, have a great time.

Blair I know I was very happy to hear we had won the sunnies!

Only problem is dh calls them wide screen tvs as they are so wide on me. But I have to wear them regardless.

www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/clothing-427/skirts-449/mini-tulle-skirt-2695336?bi=1&ps=200

I bought this yesterday but in the knee length version.

It is LOVELY.

The underskirt is pencil shaped so the tulle drapes rather than sticks out and it is very flattering.

I wore it with black ballet flats and a black vest for work.

I love it so much I am going to try and make a few in different colours.

Re perfume...I wear Chanel No5 every day. I used to wear all sorts but needed to choose one for work because I work with children with all kinds of disabilities and I didn't want to confuse them. So I stuck with my favourite. Shame it is so blummin' expensive.

LinusDKD · 24/06/2014 20:15

Oh that is nice devere! I would need the knee lenght version as well, I might have a look in TS when I'm in London in two weeks' time.

DM wears Chanel No 5 so I associate it with 'grown-ups' the fact that I'm in my late thirties and therefore a grown-up is neither here nor there

Nice gladiators shop! My legs are too short to wear them unfortunately.

BrandyAlexander · 24/06/2014 20:16

What a lovely day! I wore this dress Coast dress today with black leather wedges from Ravel that are years old. I get cold easily so don't get to wear it that often.

I don't have a signature perfume. I have lots of bottles and currently trying to use them up. Currently using Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf but others I have used in recent months are Hanae Mori (small doses or it's overpowering), Gucci Envy and J'adore. My absolute favourite is Michael by Michael Kors. I chose it especially to wear on my wedding day and honeymoon.

That skirt is so cute! Sadly, I would look a right wally in it :)

Topazandpearl · 24/06/2014 20:25

Another wearer of Coco Mademoiselle here, although lately I have been wearing the M&S Lyn Harris Cologne (£12.50 in the sale) which feels very summery. At that price I feel I can be qute liberal with topping up during the day.

Almost all my Winser order is going back - the only thing that is right is the pale blue tunic here. The other items either didn't fit or were just nit as nice on as I'd expected.

I have started a massive clear out at the moment. My tally so far is 8 bin bags for charity and 2 for the bin, mainly clothes, cosmetics and books. I really shouldn't be replacing them too quickly!

Fedupnagging · 24/06/2014 20:46

Nice skirt Devere, I like the sound of your whole outfit today.

Lovely dress Novice. Presumably you didn't wear black opaques too?!

Have decided that I really like this look. Except my jeans wouldn't be ripped! Wasn't too keen on rockstuds originally but they have grown on me and actually they look really good whichever way you wear them. (Have been looking at lots of pins). Obviously, the £600 price tag is way out of reach but will keep eyes open for lookalikes.

bettykt · 24/06/2014 20:47

My dh bought me Chance years ago when we 1st got together, I have only recently used it up. I've only just started wearing perfume again since having dc. These days I like Chanel No. 19 and Rive Gauche for daytime in the winter, Christalle in the summer and no 5 for going out. Again I only wear it because dh bought it for me it's not a perfume I would choose myself and I wouldn't replace it. Dry those perfumes you mentioned take me back to mid 80s my best friend wore L'Air du Temps, another wore Poison and I used to wear Paloma Picasso. My first grown up perfume was Anais Anais pronounced annay annay by me Grin I smelt Eternity on someone a while back and that instantly transported me back to late 80s early 90s.

santamarianovella · 24/06/2014 20:57

marsha I wanted to ask that question too,Grin seeing all the pre fall stuff, makes want to stop any purchases, and save ,but there are two items I'm still after that I really need,

cartoontrickster · 24/06/2014 21:06

fedup Russell & bromley did some lookalikes a while ago, I really wanted them but even they were out of my price range at 200 odd quid.
I've had a quick look but they don't seem to have them any more, so actually I've been no help at all!

MarshaBrady · 24/06/2014 21:11

Santa I know, I really want to buy something, but if it goes down further I'll wish I waited!

rockstudalikes
Nice outfit Devere welcome

Drywhiteplease · 24/06/2014 21:44

fedup i like that look a lot, but like you without the rips.
Shop I like citrus, fresh scent. Chanel Cristalle is lovely, there's a Dior I like and O de Lancôme is nice. There's a J Malone which I sniff on ladies a lot. But I wear Chanel no 19 all the time now....kind of fresh but fusty at the same time Grin.... But I accidentally bought No 19 Poudrée recently (looks exactly the same) and have been wearing that recently, it's nice too.
I love perfumes, would love to learn about them. I adore aftershave....there's an Armani which is sexy, I like good old Eau Sauvage (my Dad) ....DS bought himself a nice one recently.
Estée Lauder perfumes contain an ingredient that make me feel a bit wierd Hmm
I started young with 4711, progressed to the green Eau Jeune from French super markets, Anais Anais when I was 11, then grew up a bit and moved onto Coco (too heavy), then No 5 before ending up with No 19.

Fedupnagging · 24/06/2014 21:56

Grin thanks anyway cartoon.

Shop, those are perfect! and great price - except, was thinking of a darker colour way so I could wear them with a ball gown in October. I will do a bit of research. I may get more choice in the US.

Fedupnagging · 24/06/2014 22:02

In black. Will see if I can get black in the UK.

annielewis · 24/06/2014 22:15

Wow - feel like I am just jumping between so many websites at the moment and spending so much time drooling over so many pretty things!

Love those shoes - I've got a wedding to go to at the end of next month and haven't decided what to wear yet.......so many ideas!!! (would also like to shift a few pounds too - back to 5:2 I go)

Is anyone having much luck with the sales? I ordered a load of stuff off Mango at the weekend, can't wait for it to arrive!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/06/2014 22:39

Back and stuffed full of burger! Wore Peter Pilotto Target mini dress, Dune black slides and denim jacket. And bare legs - it's such a lovely warm evening.

Shop those Sam E's are the best copy I've seen by far, but I didn't know they had them at Anna. They're sold out on asos so thanks for the link! fedup am sure you'll have loads more choice in the US, lots cheaper too like it was with my (sob - not to be) Gigis.

Marsha I'm waiting for the next round of Matches reductions and I assumed it would be at least 2 weeks too. I guess NAP is the same (but it started a bit later).

shopafrolic · 25/06/2014 08:36

Morning all - Fedup give Anna a call - they may be able to help you.
Annie I'm really pleased with my Mango dress - hope you find some bits you like. I haven't been overly impressed with the sales so far......
Dry I got No19 poudree but wasn't so keen - will try and remember to bring it to the MU for you (remind me). I love O de Lancôme in the summertime.
One how are you doing today?
Marsha no idea on final reductions sorry

shopafrolic · 25/06/2014 08:39
