Queenc if your carpet is wool, I'd try pouring a bit of ace bleach on it (I use it on my cashmere) then using an old towel to absorb the liquid.
It draws the blood out immediately (the ace bleach I mean)

Wearing my favourite mad Equipment silk shirt with the zebras. Also matchy matchy withy silver baby Rocco and Boden flats - dry are you proud? Bling not quite up to Novice's standards - Kenzo tiger ring and a silver dinosaur necklace. Hopefully my engagement ring makes up for it - thought I'd lost it the other day - searched everywhere, even had my had down the drain outside so grim, went back in and saw it sparkling on the draining board. It was a bittersweet moment, let's just say.

I was creeped out and told him my DH liked my perfume as well.

Morning all. I bumped into an ex boyfriend on a night out a few years back. He hugged me and took a deep inhale and said "you still wear the same perfume" - we dated in 1997!! And that night I was wearing the perfume I used to wear back then. I was well impressed. And a bit freaked out.

I took dd earlier this year for a blood test,and while I was trying to keep her still the male nurse who was drawing blood, said to me:I like your fragrance what is it? I told him it was chanel chance and he said : I will get it for my girlfriend ,it smells nice!" I found the whole thing hilarious and disturbing at the same time,

Haha, I wore Chance in the '90 and then switched to Coco Mademoiselle when that came out.

Haven't worn Chanel perfume in ages although I have some Cristalle somewhere.

Come to think of it I haven't worn any perfume in ages. Don't know why, I just don't feel like it.

Did an H&M shop at lunch. Got a couple of shirts including this denimish one, a Breton style top and a black dress. Nothing in the sales but pretty reasonable anyway. I'm trying to start thinking about my Ibiza wardrobe, only 10 days to go.

I'm saving hard for Tom Ford London. Off to Waitrose to pick up the John Lewis Mango dress order.....

Away with dh just the two of us in one of our favourite places. Middle of nowhere in Yorkshire, absolute bliss. Was trying to just relax and enjoy the countryside but the temptation of wifi was too great! People seem to dress quite smartly for dinner here despite the rural setting. Have brought my asos maxi dress and will glam it up a bit with black lkb sandals, big enamel Hermes cuff and wang clutch which got on outnet months ago and still haven't used.

Just ordered these gladiators to wear with black JP dresses as I don't own any black sandals. Not sure if they are going to cut my legs off short but worth a try at £40 off RRP.

Fragrance is so evocative. I would tell a man or woman I know that they smell lovely. My mother has a thing about a signature fragrance. When I was young she wore Femme de Rochas, whenever I smell it now v v rarely it makes me feel v emotional. My Italian teacher at school wore L'Air du temps, my sis Poison, a collegue in France Paloma Picasso etc etc.......I remember and think of people when I smell their smell. Similarly I freaked out early on in my reLationship with DH when I noticed his mother wore my perfume but only for special occasions, once in 17 years and changed my signature smell pronto
