Liberty, your poor parents must have torn their hair out with all 4 boys!

I love that some of my friends are now grandparents but it all seems like we shouldn't be old enough.

Back to fashion. Am off out later to meet friends. Wine will may be involved and I will be wearing navy crop skinnies, navy tank and bronze linen s/s sparkly jumper, all boden with my gigi's which have orange in them and will def clash with bright pink toes.

libertychick · 18/06/2014 18:48

Definitely not too old SoyYo. I am more stylish now than I was in my 20's and 30's and I intend to keep improving with age!!

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2014 18:48

Shock.... Must have heat stroke Grin
Oh and I have a lovely BLACK top hat in my possession YEY......36 hrs to go.........

Fedupnagging · 18/06/2014 18:50

Do we know what you are wearing Dry ? I maybe missed it but would love to know.

Also, now that pashmina's are passé, what do we wear? This has been bothering me for over a week now.

SoyYo · 18/06/2014 18:57

Indeed Dry style is ageless.
Joseph Joseph have some nice kitchen stuff, cool scales! I like.

LinusDKD · 18/06/2014 19:04

this dress found it's way into my shopping bag today and it is perfect for summer.

Quite a bit longer on me than on the model though Grin

The cobalt Asos dress also arrived today and is great. I think I might be converted to one-shoulder dresses. This one will definitely need to be shortened!

I also bought a Marant-esque skirt in the H&M sale, will try and find a link.

SoyYo · 18/06/2014 19:04

LOL Dry I get it...I love my Smeg pale green fridge (I know it is a bit cliche but it is truly lovely), and won't let any dust settle on it.
Top Hat sorted, well done!

Fedup I have never owned a pashmina so interested in the replies...

LinusDKD · 18/06/2014 19:06

skirt I do wear it more one my hips than the model to make it seem a bit longer.

Right, catch-up time, so much has been written.

SoyYo · 18/06/2014 19:08

Lovely dress Linus and bargain price! personally couldn't carry it off with such thin straps (norkage again), very summery and romantic...lucky you!

Fedupnagging · 18/06/2014 19:20

Meant to ask Hopefully if you could post me a link to your blog please. I lost it when dh updated iPad and wiped EVERYTHING.

Nice dress Linus' very stylish scales Dry

LinusDKD · 18/06/2014 19:27

SoyYo I will wear a strapless bra with that dress as my small B-cup is not as, ahem, firm as it used to be before DC.

Great biker jacket btw. I still love that teal Muubaa I linked a while back but just thinking about a leather jacket in this warm weather makes me sweat.

Talking about sweating, I have seen opaques been worn in Oz during the summer. I am melting at the thought of it.

The dress was not expensive but the skirt was a steal at about £14.

dry cute kitchen scales and well done on the top hat.

sleep I hope you get that stain out. Maybe a job for the professionals?

blair I like culottes and I might give them a go in winter.

shop I haven't bought from AR since they messed up DMIL's Christmas present. I still haven't forgiven them.

marsha phew that the DHL delivery man came back. I know approx when mine comes so I always stay in.

amber shame you can't come to the MU. I think we studied something very similar at Uni (from what you once posted) so it would have been fun to have a chat about that for 5 minutes and then back to fashion chat

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2014 19:54

Fedup wear a pashmina! it's snobbery.
It's a dress and a hat I had made for a wedding a few years ago. I loved it so much I swore if I ever went to RA I'd wear it because the hat ESP is fantastic I adore wearing a hat and made the most of the opportunity . Could do with it being a couple of defpgreescooleras it has 3/4 sleeves.

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2014 20:08

Fedup PM!

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2014 20:12

Love the dress linus v tempted! great colour. I'm wearing this one now with a wide tan belt and orange Gigis, v cool and comfy.

SoyYo · 18/06/2014 20:41

Dry that is a really lovely dress too! The Ascot outfit sounds good.
I'm not sure why but in East Anglia (just north of Cambridge) it is not so warm...in fact a bit chilly/overcast...we are only 60ish miles north of London but it just goes to show...
Could have worn the pink Muubaa if out and about today, but instead slopping around in jersey old things while (still) finishing off some work related stuff.
To me it is heaven to have a dressed down slobday after two continous weeks of travelling/having to dress up for work.

maradesbois · 18/06/2014 21:05

SoyYo love the pink jacket. I am going to the tate Matisse exhibition tomorrow, really looking forward to it.

dry nice scales, very tactile-looking! I have arguments with dh about how much is reasonable to spend on kitchen equipment, my point being that if we're going to be looking at it every day it has to have some design merit as well as functionality. I spent about 10 minutes this afternoon pondering over a spring action flour sifter in tk maxx so totally see where you're coming from!

linus nice dress. I love the one-shoulder asos dress too, am going to see if can get the same one in white.

Well, my nap DHL arrived and its all going back so that was a waste of about 2 hours yesterday morning. AW shirt dress is too much flimsy shirt, wouldn't feel comfortable in it. Chan Luu scarf is so fine it had a snag in when I took it out of the packaging plus it doesn't feel like cashmere should. Disappointing. Am bored of Internet sales now. Going to look in a few shops in London tomorrow though...

maradesbois · 18/06/2014 21:08

Btw I popped into gap earlier and saw loads of things I loved, great denim shorts cotton dresses and skirts. My new plan is to focus more on high st clothes & keep big spends for shoes & bags.

shopafrolic · 18/06/2014 21:13

Linus I did Classics. I was pretty damn cool. Still am, actually.

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2014 21:29

Linus same here, I know the time. I still wondered off for artichokes at exactly that time Confused

Dry I know aren't they fab, artichokes that is. I don't like the taste the difference chargrilled ones, just normal I have been lamenting a shortage for two weeks, empty shelves!

Mara what a shame re delivery.

LinusDKD · 18/06/2014 21:32

amber pm!
