Ladies I give you my perfect little black jacket looks horrid on line but IRL it is really nipped in, a lovely cotton jersey waffle weave, all lined, zips on cuffs, pockets and front, collarless which I love, all in all it has everything I love in a jacket. very pleased.

Dd is going to her first proper disco party tonight. She's getting ready upstairs with 3 friends. I've been doing nails. The house smells of nail varnish, body spray, perfume and there is a lot of make up in the bathrooms. I shudder to think how the 13 yr olds will be dressed when they come down. It's quite sweet really but I haven't seen them yet

Fab dress for you Sleep
Dry how lovely. Hope they have fun!

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2014 18:45

Love that jacket Dry. Sounds very sweet. Bet they have better fashion options that I did at 13. All those Topshop type places would be fun.

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2014 18:47

Blair I think Atterley Rd is your best bet but will kelp an eye out. But definitely wait for an AR discount, it's pretty regular.

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2014 18:47

Um keep not kelp

QueenCadbury · 25/04/2014 19:30

Ah, the first glass is always the nicest. Cheers Wine.

Lovely jacket dry. Great dress sleep.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 25/04/2014 19:30

I love little girls dressing up (and they are still little girls). Yes, the results are usually hideous interesting, but they make for great photos in years to come. We have some howlers of my DSis.

I got the yellow Zara jacket as linked by stokey and I love it. The colour, style & fabric are so lovely and summery. Shame it's unbelievably nasty outside at the moment, but when the sun shines I will wear it to bits. Think it will be good with silk biker T and destroyed jeans

Drywhiteplease · 25/04/2014 19:50

Sleep fab dress!
Lots of photos....surprised at 3/4 outfits and how not too tarty they were. Even the fake tan was well and discretely applied Shock, make up was lovely......I only had to shout "knickers xxx" to one who must have mistaken a t shirt for a dress Grin

Just tried the McQ and the blue Karl dress on for DH and he really likes both and I do too - can't keep both though! Will deliberate for a week Smile. The Mango jacket also arrived and I thought, seeing as the dress it was intended to go with was awful on me that I would send it back, but it's fab, so Flowers Stokey and Lib, it looked so good with the jeans and white T I already had on that I just kept it on for SR and got a few compliments Smile.

Just as an aside, I tried some really lovely stuff on in Maje, but do French women have no boobs? Even in a size 3 my chest looked like it was bandaged up and I could barely breathe Shock such a shame, there was a fab lacy peplum top and a cream/gold sort of tweedy shift dress that I loved. Will try and link separately as I keep losing posts when I change page Hmm.

Can we see a pic Dry? Of you not the knickers Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 25/04/2014 20:41

dress with gold flecks

lacy top - gorgeous colour, would be really lovely if it fitted!

The website is rubbish too - why such tiny pics? Hmm

Sleepwhenidie · 25/04/2014 20:44

I did a quick whiz around Zara too and they have some lovely summer stuff and great shoes... I agree it's a shame about the weather!

OneLittleLady · 25/04/2014 21:01

Sorry I'm a bit quiet tonight, busy making a Creeper from Minecraft cake for Ds's birthday Grin

libertychick · 25/04/2014 21:15

That sounds interesting one!

Sleep Fab McQ dress - very you! I am so pleased I kept the Mango jacket too. It really is perfect w jeans and white T.

Dry that jacket is a great buy. I have pinned it for the sales.

I popped into Warehouse today to try on this silk shirt. It's really lovely but I'm not brave enough for cropped Smile. It would be good with the Stella skirt I think Blair.

Also tried on these sandals in R&B. Not sure about them. The weather is so gloomy sandals just feel strange on. Will keep looking... On an aside, why do the R&B SA's insist on bringing out a bag (or 3) with the shoes??? Very annoying. Does that tactic work?

I notice my fugly sandals are getting the same silent treatment as Sleep's hoodie Grin

Fedupnagging · 25/04/2014 21:19

Love your Todd's Mara. I have a pair of loafers in that colour except they are Gap from last season. Not quite the same but still!

One, your weight loss is a great achievement so ignore all negative comments.

Shame the Reiss dress wasn't right sleep but it sounds like you still have a couple of choices. I saw from the pic you posted a while back that you have a fantastic figure so bet you look great in just about anything. not envious at all

Sounds like it was a little hectic in your house earlier Dry. No doubt the girls looked considerably older than 13 by the time they left the house Grin. It is so exciting for them.

Not a lot going on for me fashion wise. I returned the monsoon maxi skirt as felt it wasn't right. I did however buy the Fossil 'Sydney' bag in the most gorgeous blue/ turq colour. Their website is playing up so can't link atm. It's the nearest I could find to the trio.

Been fighting a migraine all day so no wine for me tonight Sad.

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2014 21:23

Liberty lovely I didn't click, I will though. I'm so beat, finished the project. Will be back on board in full link clicking mode tomorrow!

So I'm sure they're very nice and I wasn't doing the silent Grin

libertychick · 25/04/2014 21:28

It's ok Marsha well done on completing your project. 30 days and then you start shopping, yes?

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2014 21:32

Haha Liberty yes! Grin Done and invoiced today. The only annoyance is a big wodge goes to nursery but it's much preferred to scrabbling around for ad hoc cc. Should be around sale preview I imagine, goodo! Can't wait.

Fedupnagging · 25/04/2014 21:41

Have checked out the sandals liberty - am not keen but probably because the fugly shoe is not for me. The models wearing said shoe always look great though and no doubt you will too.

Marsha glad the project went well and is now finished. Nursery fees sound horrendous though.

libertychick · 25/04/2014 21:53

The main attraction of them Fedup is that they look sooooo comfy! I'm hoping I look cool and directional as a sort of incidental aside Smile

BrandyAlexander · 25/04/2014 22:08

Evening all! Dry love that jacket just checked it out and they only have it in a 10 now. Has everyone in the country bought it?!Grin

I am still neon rockstuds less. Blair, I love the yellow ones, but also quite like the orange ones too.

I meant to say, I tried on a £10k sapphire and diamond bracelet yesterday. It was lovely.Wink

justasecond · 25/04/2014 22:10

Liberty I not completely convinced re the Clarks sandals but they may look better on. Think they wold have been better if the front was plain rather than with the buckle. I love the warehouse silk top though, does not look too cropped, good with a pencil skirt and slim trousers.
Queenc we are terrible self diagnosing, perhaps we should think about getting down the docs Grin A friend who also has pmt came round earlier and we ate a whole pack of chocolate biscuits as well as the kids leftover dinners then compared stomachs!
Dry your jacket is really lovely
One cake sounds great. I love any kind of cake!
Marsha well done finishing now you can relax for the weekend. Wish I had finished my mountain of ironing, it will hang like a cloud over me all weekend.
Shop hope you are feeling better today.
My topshop bf jeans arrived today. They are not bad are looser round the thighs then slimmer on legs but too short so have ordered the longer ones. I have to admit am not totally convinced about the look. Have yet to see anyone irl i.e my neck of the woods who looks good/styled them the right way. Do you think they will become mainstream like skinnies?

maradesbois · 25/04/2014 22:16

Evening,

liberty not ignoring your fuglies either! Have had terrible Internet connection the last few days but think we've finally sorted it. Been back for a look at them and not for me am afraid but there's definitely a lot to be said for comfort. Can imagine SJP doing the school run in them in a cool/directional way but don't think I could pull it off.

AmberNectarine · 25/04/2014 22:16

Liberty I liked your sandals a lot. I really like Clarks originals stuff.

Drywhiteplease · 25/04/2014 22:18

Novice PM!!!!!
Thanks everyone....I'm really very chuffed with the jacket. Looks like moss stitch for the knitters among us.

Thanks Amber one vote will do me! I'll do a full report when I finally get my hands on them.
