Sorry one I missed your outfit post somehow. Grey DKNY sounds perfect. I agree with Blair that you could add some colour although you already do that with your hair!

santamarianovella · 08/04/2014 14:22

Yay marsha well done,go start shopping Smile

That's good one,I agree add some color, but not too much,

dry I agree, louboutins are just pure evil,I have 2 pairs ,haven't worn them in years, and now they are in boxes ready to be ebayed,

queen and linus welcome back, beautiful cardigan queen,

blair bought one ,from shopbop reason I bought from them is they sell bottoms and tops separately,I'm two different sizes.

liberty that's a gorgeous dress, and good choice topaz

I'm a walking zombie today, hardly slept,dd is better. still cranky, contemplating taking a nap but work is done next door and its driving me insane, Sad

AmberNectarine · 08/04/2014 14:28

I ended up basically crippled for a month after the huge blisters my Loubs gave me got infected. It was awful. I've not worn them since!

Stokey · 08/04/2014 14:32

Well done on pitch Marsha, Outfit sounds great One

Saw nice black shift in Jaeger at lunch, looked lovely on but just not sure when I would wear it. Don't think it is quite right for work and a bit work-like for evening.

I also popped into Longchamp and bought a Le Pliage but am thinking maybe I should have got the leather straps instead. Opinions from those who have them please?

Youngest is about to grow out of nappy stage, but think will still be great for carrying kids stuff around, general day bag.

Drywhiteplease · 08/04/2014 15:03

Thanks ladies you have saved me a lot of money. Reconsidering considered purchase Grin
Continuing my afternoon of torture .... 1 hour's spinning about to be followed by a trip to the beautician. Wine in fridge ready for later Wink

Thanks everyone Smile. It should be a good thing to have done in the future.

Stokey great shopping, not sure on Le Pilage, I think a few people have them. Decam perhaps?

Good one Dry sounds like a good day to me.

Santa you poor thing, I loathe sleep deprivation intensely and find it hard to function when it happens now as ds2 was so bad after he was born for a whole year. I finally saw a GP recently who said, yes his breathing is strained at night (took a video). The hcp made me feel so bad for his bad sleeping back then grr

Topaz and Liberty great dress, lovely find and great ordering!

I've had a great week, time off with dh, meeting friends later this week (going Out Out Grin) doing work I love at home and more difficult other work which is a challenge. Sometimes I feel a holiday in London is more a holiday than a short haul flight one Confused. Perhaps it changes as the dc get older.

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:02

I keep dreaming about an 'at home' holiday Marsha. DH always wants to get away from London. A couple of years ago we booked a hotel in Hammersmith for a couple of nights for my birthday (we had DD with us) and it was great for a couple of days to be so much closer to the city and able to do lots of great things in London.

Have already posted them on the 'blogs' thread but I ordered two jackets from Mango today - this one and this one. The navy one was recommended by WIT as a good 'marant alike'. I have decided after a wardrobe clear out that what I need is at least one jacket (the navy would be perfect), brogues, a new breton and maybe a pair of ankle length trousers and some sandals. And that is it! (until A/W 14/15) Smile

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:12

I must admit the holiday part comes from the sheer amount of free time we've had together with and without the dc than actually going anywhere. But I remember after a holiday in Crete a man came up to me at the end and said.. your holiday was mostly walking 3 paces behind your two year old. He was right (many rocks and ledges) and I thought wth I get more of a break at home!

Love the jackets Liberty, really gorgeous and very Marant.

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:12

Oh and a white sweater.... and I still have the Issa dress in Outnet basket desperately, DESPERATELY, trying to justify it

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:13

DO it

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:13

ps returns returns returns

if not right

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:14

sits on hands, remembers DH's face when the boxes arrives, and resolutely IGNORES Marsha

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:14

arf

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:15

But what if it is right and then hangs in my wardrobe for years feeling hurt because I never take it out - because I have no where to wear it? Smile

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:16

I could get it sent to work....

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:16

No, no, no, no log off, log off now....

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:17

Liberty Grin

I can't talk I woke at 5AM over that Liberty stuff. I finally got the £ back in my account. Sheer guilt on that one.

SecretSquirrel13 · 08/04/2014 16:17

Liberty the voice of doom now but when will you wear it? Where? How many times a month do you see yourself wearing it to justify it?
I'm like a reverse enabler aren't i???

SecretSquirrel13 · 08/04/2014 16:19

Well done Marsha

SecretSquirrel13 · 08/04/2014 16:19

On the pitch, not on persuading liberty.

Stokey · 08/04/2014 16:22

Liberty I saw some Issa dresses in Jaeger today and while the patterns are pretty, the material was not worth the price IMO - viscose rather than silk... HTH

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:23

ha Secret, thanks.

Hmm, Liberty it's ok not to I reckon.

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:23

Thanks God for you Squirrel...it's true. I would never wear it, maybe 2/3 times in next 2 years. And actually i's no fun ordering a pretty dress if I can't twirl in it in front of DH Wink

MarshaBrady · 08/04/2014 16:24

Good decision!

libertychick · 08/04/2014 16:24

And yes, Stokey I had already clocked it was viscose and recall telling sleep off recently for considering a £200 viscose dress...

Thanks for letting me off the hook marsha Grin
