Wow hectic morning/early afternoon babysitting my friends two DS's one just under four and the other 18 months old! Pheeeeeeewie, I'd forgotten how grim changing nappies could be!

Foxy we just upgraded our MacBooks (the 2007 ones) to MacBook Airs as the old laptop was no longer supported. We wiped them of all data, delisted them from iTunes and did a factory reset and I sold mine on EBay for £230 - so factor that in if you do make a new purchase…..

Shop I'm the 8th and have taken a leaf out of your book and have organised a great birthday. Tea with 8 of my best girlfriends on Friday afternoon and my parents are coming to stay for the weekend think mother is cooking me Sunday lunch . Work Christmas do on Sat won't be wild but what the hell . Just hope I don't fall out with mother !

Evening all. I don't know where the day's gone. We had a fabulous weekend and got up at 5.30 this morning to get home before dc went to school as we were missing them. They weren't expecting us so early so it was so nice to see them all so excited at our arrival. I've been in the blotus position all day after the amount we ate and drunk all weekend. My fashion news of the weekend is that I forgot to pack pants!! Luckily the sports shop sold these which I personally think are hideous but dh thought they were sexier than some of my usual pants . We obviously have v different ideas about sexy underwear!

I did a HOF order whilst away at the weekend to get dm a bag with the discount and somehow a blouse and cardi feel into my basket too. If they are ok the the coast clutch will need to go back as I need to prioritise my spending. I also did a dry and ordered a green cardi from gap when I'd already tried the jumper and it wasn't the right shade . But these discounts do mad things to your brain .

I missed DHL today so hopefully sweater will arrive tomorrow, and I remembered to organise the collection for the burberry coated skinnies.
Curtains arrived today and look fab. New bed and mattress, desk and chair have just arrived so lots of furniture building for DH and I.

I took today off as I was supposed to be doing Xmas shopping on cyber Monday! Ha!ha!ha! I ended up spending a 3rd bloody day gathering data as I am being audited for regulatory purposes. It's random but so painful as it covers everyone in the novice household. I am feeling v grumpy having spent the day gathering details of dh's 15 bank accounts (carpet beggar legacy), 25 investments (10 of which he had previously forgotten to tell me about) and finding every insurance policy (eg home, travel, pet!) we own, all the kids investments etc etc I finally finished a couple of hours ago.

I now have my Xmas candle burning, Xmas songs in the background and am about to start shopping! Thanks whoever mentioned the 40% sale at gap!

Currently watching I'm a celeb (DD2 is hooked and I love Joey Essex - so sweet), but will definitely watching Liberty later as we make an appearance - I was there with the DDs last Sunday and we found ourselves right in front of the camera whilst browsing in the Christmas dept.

As for today's Gap code, the lady in Gap told me they're doing another big in-store promotion before Christmas, so I'm on alert. I have ordered a trench coat (classic) and navy merino polo neck (ditto) with 30% off from Gap and a fairisle sweater from Banana Republic. I wanted the fairisle/fur neckwarmer to match but it sold out just as I went to order it - same as the green boucle pencil skirt and bright yellow mini. So of the 4 items I wanted, I managed to get 1. Better than none I s'pose.

Hopping in on the recommendations for Shop's DS and I have just ordered that one you have linked Dry and the 'Father Christmas needs a wee' (cause we are totally infantile in this house) as recommended by Mig!
I am getting excited about xmas now - DD will get it this year - she wants a sweeping brush and a potty for her teddy (will remind her that she had simple needs once when she's older and more demanding).
