santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:18

shop and marsha the short version is,technically we are staying where we are for the rest of school year and move there during summer holiday,dh will still need to go there, but at a later date, not early jan,he will visit us on weekends and holidays, I pinned a very emotional sounded like I was saying my goodbyes really! on MNV, ignore it Smile

Mignonette · 09/12/2013 21:20

God I hope nor One. My skin is peeling and itchy. Probably some metabolic weirdness of which I am likely capable. Maybe I am turning into a Gecko or a snake?

Will consult my sister oracle if I still feel rough tomorrow. You only get an appointment in the early part of the week w/ my GP if your leg falls off in Waitrose or something.

20k a season? I probably would if I could she admits shamefacedly

Love the gold pair mig . Retire to bed immediately. Hope you have people to look after you- sounds rotten.
Santa pleased you have a solution that works

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:24

one I used spanks once after having dd,we had to attend a wedding and I still didnt lose some of my baby weight,I looked awful in,it didnt make me look slimmer at all, and not to mention they itch like hell!

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 21:26

Fabric - 2/3 of profit is that what I heard? No way!

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 21:27

Santa sounds like a great solution.

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:27

O god! Spanx!i meant spanx! My I pad has a dirty mind!

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 21:28

What happens if you leg falls off I tescos Mig?

OneLittleLady · 09/12/2013 21:28

I don't really want to look slimmer, just want to tone down some of the lumpy tummy Santa I have the worst c-section overhang and I've been told the only way to totally get rid of it is to have surgery which I just can't afford and I don't really feel it's right to try and get it done on the NHS. DP assures me that the lumps are unnoticeable to anyone but me, I just think he's trying to sweet talk me Xmas Wink

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 21:28
Grin
MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 21:28

gosh that was slow, Grin to Santa!

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:32

Thank you all! Flowers
Its the lesser of two evils, and he feels confident with it,we were told there is a big possibility a place will be available for dss next year!

QueenCadbury · 09/12/2013 21:36

That's bad shop. Don't want news like that in my lovely bristol.

mig hope you feel better. Does your GP not offer same day appts? At our surgery we have same day appts available with the nurse practitioner who is fab. Cool shoes.

santa glad you've made a decision.

one I've never tried spanx. They're quite pricey if they don't work. I'm sure I've read on s&b that people swear by primark own version. I've used m&s version to smooth out lines before but that was before my c section and they don't really work as well anymore as they're not high waisted enough.

OneLittleLady · 09/12/2013 21:42

QueenC I was thinking of one of those almost full body ones that just sits under your bra IYKWIM? I'm so paranoid about my tummy, it's so ugly now, DP swears he never notices it but I always feel like he's lying to me to make me feel better Xmas Sad

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:47

one I don't think he is lying,I think he sees the whole fab "you" and not just a tiny part of you, you have a great waist maybe he sees that, and not your tummy

QueenCadbury · 09/12/2013 21:49

I totally get where you're coming from one. Dh says the same to me but unless you believe it yourself it makes no difference what anyone else says. I think definitely for c section overhang you need the up to your bra ones. The pants I have seem to roll down to sit under my overhang. In fact I really should chuck them out as I haven't worn them for the 2 1/2 years since having a c section! Could you order some to try on? Do you have a next account? I think they may have their own brand as well as branded stuff and you don't need to pay upfront so great for ordering different makes/sizes to try on at home.

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 21:49

What I meant was that men are not that perceptive!

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 21:53

Liberty's website only gets 200 orders per day?????? Rubbish!

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 21:56

Yeh I said the website was woeful in that thing I went to, didn't listen!

It is a dusty website, rather than an online shopping thing, no where near NaP etc. And they hardly put any stock on there.

OneLittleLady · 09/12/2013 21:58

I might try out a cheap Primark version QueenC so as not to waste a lot of money if it doesn't work. I've never bothered with a Next account as nothing in there ever fits me properly, I seem to be in between their sizes so everything's either too small or too big!

QueenCadbury · 09/12/2013 21:58

Totally agree santa. My dh only notices my 'jelly belly' because I point it out to him Grin.

Shoot me now....I'm watching royal variety performance which has been ok so far but now chas and dave are on...

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 22:02

MiC starting next. This. Old be my favourite night for telly ATM

Mignonette · 09/12/2013 22:03

Shop I don't think our GP allows Tesco's shoppers (just kidding). Instead of a medical questionnaire, upon enrollment you are asked where you shop Xmas Wink.

I am in my bed but am itching all over. I do get the itches when I get a temp. Weird.

One Men look but they don't see IYKWIM? It is without judgement because it comes from love and finding you attractive and desirable. I know that doesn't mean you will be suddenly oblivious to your flaws perceived or actual and if it really bothers you then I do not think it is wrong to ask if the NHS can do something. You have been a tax payer. Your DH is a tax payer. If it will improve mood and self esteem then this will be beneficial to your overall health in the medium to long term.

It is no more 'wasteful' of NHS resources than skiing injuries, DIY injuries, car crash injuries, cutting fingers off w/ carving knives yada yada. Once we go down the road of appraising health needs via 'deservedness' then we go down a very dodgy road.
