Oh novice weep not, you'll get it all done Thanks

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 17:33

Step into the fear Novice Xmas Grin

Yes true, love the Rag&Bone skinnies I have, and the other older ones are ok.

The Lanvin boots are brill, but the SE boots have a splodge and I really want to update. Also need some flats.

What I really need is some jumpers, shrank an I&I one on the weekend. It's a shrinking wardrobe I tell you.

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 17:35

Santa how are your Lanvins? Have you worn them?

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 17:38

Embrace it Novice it's part of Christmas - that horrible anxious feeling. I still have all the horrors to buy for - crazy batchelor uncle, random children of DH's friends, my brother and dad……No wrapping done here - fear not
Marsha you clearly cannot be trusted with boots - best you hand over the Lanvins immediately before anything terrible happens to them.
I need knits too. Fingers crossed for Christmas cash / vouchers.

QueenCadbury · 09/12/2013 17:41

nivice every time I think I'm done I remember someone else. I haven't got anything yet for any in laws as they haven't given any ideas at all and my sil is the complete opposite to me ie completely not interested in shopping/clothes/anything remotely 'girls'. Christmas shopping shouldn't be this stressful. I'm going into town tomorrow to finish off and anything I haven't got will be up to dh to get!

marsha I shrunk my uniqlo tee. I'm normally so careful not to put my stuff in the tumble dryer but it ended up by mistake. Not shrunk by much but just enough that it's not wearable. Ho hum, just gave me an excuse to order this. I think I tried this on months ago but I can't remember whether I liked it or not or whether I was just being too tight to part with the original sum of 60+ quid Confused

OneLittleLady · 09/12/2013 17:45

I don;t think anyone's listened to my requests for vouchers for Christmas Xmas Sad I'm not exactly difficult to buy for but I'd like to have had some vouchers/cash to spend int he sales since i do need some new clothes. Ah well, will just have to try and save a little where I can to spend int he sales

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 18:32

Decam how's the chicken pox?

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 20:31

Nice to hear from you novice,I still have a few small gifts to buy,so don't feel left out!
shop hope you are not ill,and how is ds?

decam hope your dd is feeling better,

turq happy birthday! Cake and Wine

marsha the lanvin boots are amazing, very comfortable and the few extra inches in height without being obvious is an extra bonus! Felt bad about buying them, but I've worn them several times nowadays love them,a black one s on my list for next AW

I might have sounded like I'm about to die on MNV, Grin, but I'm really happy to finally have a clear path regarding the move.when dh informed me of his descion I broke down and started sobbing hysterically, he said why are you crying? I told him you don't understand I had a speech prepared! I mentally took notes of all your advice and was constantly reciting it in my head for the last few days.

santamarianovella · 09/12/2013 20:34

*decision!
Plz ignore my mistakes! I'm typing in a rush! Don't know why really!

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 20:38

So what's the plan Santa?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 09/12/2013 20:39

Oh, you lot!

Here was me feeling smugly organised and you've started me off thinking about friends' DCs etc and now I feel as though I'm several presents short.

Dammit.

LinusDKD · 09/12/2013 20:47

shop how's DS? And how are you feeling?

decam how's the chickenpox? DS and DD had it earlier this year and I am so happy we're done now.

Macy's haven't gotten back to me with regard to DH's Christmas present so I was so upset I told DH.

He said not to worry and that we'll buy something together after Christmas when we are in London for the weekend.

Luckily I still have one present left to give him (I gave him his talking Minion weeks ago after he was in stitches whilst watching Despicable Me 2) but it really is a small, silly present.

We have decided to give each others presents before Christmas as we like to be just the two of us when we exchange gifts. We have always done it that way since we met (with a few exceptions) and we prefer it that way.

He did say my present is also small (small?! How small?!) so he suggested we go to DvF in London to try on that Zarita dress, which he really likes.

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 20:56

Linus touch wood DS seems better today, but still not eating too much. But no d or v so that's an improvement. I just feel sick so not eating much today.
Shopping in London for presents sounds good. What did Macy's say???
Any of you Bristol lot got anything you want to tell us? It's all going on there on the news.......

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2013 20:59

Santa excellent! on both accounts. What's the plan? Exciting. Love that you had a speech prepared.

Foxy yes of course pm me, what do you have your eye on?

Decam I could really do with some of the cp for ds2, although I know it's not fun, he hasn't had it yet and he's nearly four.

QueenC good one on the top, this time say on here if you like it then you can always scroll back Grin

shopafrolic · 09/12/2013 21:00

Liberty starting in a moment on C4

QueenCadbury · 09/12/2013 21:03

OneLittleLady · 09/12/2013 21:05

Are Spanx the best option for streamlining lumps and bumps under clingy dresses? Need something to go under a few dresses I have but I've never bought shape wear before so don't really know what I should get Xmas Confused

VIP person at Liberty has a good job.

One I haven't tried it but have heard good things on here about spanx.

Mignonette · 09/12/2013 21:10

Hello everybody,

I am starting to feel really unwell. High temperature, vertigo, rigors, nausea and itchy sore skin. Please let me not get sick - I have too much to do

I do hope you are feeling better soon Shop. I never get bugs so don't quite know where and how this one landed on me.

I managed to buy these before I succumbed. And these before they ran out of my size.

Too high but dreamy.

Pure sex

You're not coming down with shingles are you Mig? They are all the symptoms I had when I came down with them. Might be an idea to go and see the doctor?
