morning all, thanks for the birthday wishes. Dry - sounds like you had a good one! Dh has taken the hint and said to pick a bag and I can have that. SO, Now I cant decide ... am still loving the sophie hulme but the strap is too narrow for me really, plus I want a bag to be for everyday wear, am a little worried that that one would be a bit too precious for the rough n tumble of my everyday. Also I feel it s too much to spend on a bag , talking myself right out of it now arent I...... I suppose I would prefer a mid range price as then I wont have to be 'minding' it so much, and I know I m fickle enough to want to swap around and use/buy another one once spring/summer comes. I m not hugely bothered by big labels etc and dont have the budget or lifestyle to justify having them really.
Marsha - did you see there were some nice 'I and I' sweaters on the Outnet atm, if you re still looking for basics. I saw a fabulous 360 cashmere one in local store here - hoping it will go into sale, might have pushed it to the back of the rack everytime i go i there. I feltt as irrationally cross with dh when he broke 2 more of our lovely waterford crystal wine glasses during our move, especially as the particuclar design is no longer made. I m in a quandry - we have to get more wine glasses, so do I now start to build on a whole new pattern, do I try 'match' or go for something completely different? I m a bit of a stickler in that I would hate to set the table with 2 different sets of crystal, but cant afford to head out and buy the whole setting in another pattern. What galls ware does everyone have?
santa - just caught up on your dilema, glad you seem sorted, a move is a big and stresssful thing, but so much easier if you are both in agreement and working together on it.
Justa - I love those pinstripes.
Queen - your style day sounds fabulous! I am terrible witht accessories, I don't wear that much really, awful with 'statement' jewellery / bangles etc - I love hats though, (and handbags), you pinned a great hat recently!
Novice - hope you got your Christmas shopping done - we get the dc to write their letters early and 'once it s in the letter you cant change your mind' ! I m so glad we did too as ds s toy has sold out everywhere, BIL is in a panic trying to find the same one for ds 'c cousin.
I m loving all the trees on pin, will pin ours when we have it done, might not be for a few days yet.
One - I used Spanks, For a wedding post dc, and also when in the early stages of pregnancy, both times had to remove them so i could eat my dinner and breathe comfortably... maybe i got aa size too small. well done ont he weight loss, are you feeling more energy too?
Harking back to the conversation at the start of the tread - I find diet coke, or any fizzy drinks, really cause me to bloat, so I avoid mostly, but a diet coke is my guilty pleasure ,when dh and the dc arent looking>
linus - am envious of brora wrist warmers- I ve ordered two pairs from wrap and still waiting on delivery, i wear wrist warmers nearly all year round here
