Anyway I think you are worth it One. You are a very kind and supportive woman. Good things should come your way.

shop I think I may have just reported your post - sorry. Bloody iPhone - touchscreen is v temperamental and only ever becomes sensitive when I don't want it to be.

Hope you feel better soon mig - that all sounds grim

libertychick · 10/12/2013 00:05

Just popping in to say hello!! Struggling to keep up ATM but I am lurking...

One I have a fake tree too!! Love it. Regarding getting things like tummy tucks on the NHS no harm asking but don't take it personally if they say no - there is a lot of rationing ATM and anything that is 'just' for cosmetic reasons tends not to be approved. See page 10 of this document for details of circumstances where a tummy tuck will be funded. As Mig says it's not about being 'deserving' - it's about if there is a good case that a particular treatment would significantly benefit someone's quality of life.

OneLittleLady · 10/12/2013 08:14

Oh dear, my poor backside and upper back are black and blue! I erm, fell backwards off the sofa while trying to put decorations up last night. Stood on the remote which put me off balance and then I was gone! I did go up there despite DP advising me against it so I suppose I only have myself to blame!

Annianni · 10/12/2013 09:09

You need some arnica One.

How's ds today Shop?
Have you now got the lurgy?

Hope your dd isn't too itchy Decameron.

Hi to all, I'll never catch up.

I tried some J Brand photo ready jeans last night.
They looked bloody awful on me :o
But i'm glad I tried them.
From looking at the sizes on NaP, they seem to be similar to Frame (ie too small for me at the moment)

I'll have to keep riding my bike, before daring to try them again!

Happy belated birthday to Turquoise Flowers

Annianni · 10/12/2013 09:13

Have a look in sainsburys for cheap shapewear One.
They do vests and dresses to wear with your own bra.
40bum recommends them.
And they have 25% off clothing at the moment.

I have some of their high waist knickers and they're ok for pulling everything in.

Turquoiseblue · 10/12/2013 09:14

morning all, thanks for the birthday wishes. Dry - sounds like you had a good one! Dh has taken the hint and said to pick a bag and I can have that. SO, Now I cant decide ... am still loving the sophie hulme but the strap is too narrow for me really, plus I want a bag to be for everyday wear, am a little worried that that one would be a bit too precious for the rough n tumble of my everyday. Also I feel it s too much to spend on a bag , talking myself right out of it now arent I...... I suppose I would prefer a mid range price as then I wont have to be 'minding' it so much, and I know I m fickle enough to want to swap around and use/buy another one once spring/summer comes. I m not hugely bothered by big labels etc and dont have the budget or lifestyle to justify having them really.

Marsha - did you see there were some nice 'I and I' sweaters on the Outnet atm, if you re still looking for basics. I saw a fabulous 360 cashmere one in local store here - hoping it will go into sale, might have pushed it to the back of the rack everytime i go i there. I feltt as irrationally cross with dh when he broke 2 more of our lovely waterford crystal wine glasses during our move, especially as the particuclar design is no longer made. I m in a quandry - we have to get more wine glasses, so do I now start to build on a whole new pattern, do I try 'match' or go for something completely different? I m a bit of a stickler in that I would hate to set the table with 2 different sets of crystal, but cant afford to head out and buy the whole setting in another pattern. What galls ware does everyone have?

santa - just caught up on your dilema, glad you seem sorted, a move is a big and stresssful thing, but so much easier if you are both in agreement and working together on it.
Justa - I love those pinstripes.
Queen - your style day sounds fabulous! I am terrible witht accessories, I don't wear that much really, awful with 'statement' jewellery / bangles etc - I love hats though, (and handbags), you pinned a great hat recently!
Novice - hope you got your Christmas shopping done - we get the dc to write their letters early and 'once it s in the letter you cant change your mind' ! I m so glad we did too as ds s toy has sold out everywhere, BIL is in a panic trying to find the same one for ds 'c cousin.
I m loving all the trees on pin, will pin ours when we have it done, might not be for a few days yet.
One - I used Spanks, For a wedding post dc, and also when in the early stages of pregnancy, both times had to remove them so i could eat my dinner and breathe comfortably... maybe i got aa size too small. well done ont he weight loss, are you feeling more energy too?
Harking back to the conversation at the start of the tread - I find diet coke, or any fizzy drinks, really cause me to bloat, so I avoid mostly, but a diet coke is my guilty pleasure ,when dh and the dc arent looking>
linus - am envious of brora wrist warmers- I ve ordered two pairs from wrap and still waiting on delivery, i wear wrist warmers nearly all year round here
Hello to everyone else
Mig I hope you re feeling better today, Shop hope ds is better.
Decam - good to have the CP iver before christmas, but s it a horrible dose my dc were sper cranky when they had it. Hope you re doing ok.

Turquoiseblue · 10/12/2013 09:14

eeek Linus - trying to pm you ..

Annianni · 10/12/2013 09:15

Hope you're feeling better today Mig.

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 09:19

Annianni · 10/12/2013 09:33

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 09:41

Don't shout Anni - they'll all be on it! Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 09:48

Great! Got some stuff to try.

Mini Gracie in plum £90! I couldn't help it.

I&I sweater and

Marc Jacobs sunnies because my Miu Miu ones are scratched.

And I can't ignore a good discount Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 09:51

Turq I feel your pain. We got some gorgeous crystal from a small shop in Paris, they mean a lot to me. We have ONE left. Dh is banned. And I see it as a sign, do not break the last glass. Will have to go to Paris to relive the whole thing again.

Glad I got a jumper finally and £20 is good, the gracie might be ok as clashes with it, might look ok!

Mignonette · 10/12/2013 10:04

Thanks for posting that document Liberty although I am surprised that Leeds doesn't fund correction of diastasis recti abdominis. This is linked with significant health gain when it is performed.

I feel pretty rough. I think it is a generalised bug although my sister did advise keeping close eye on temperature as she mooted TSS (due to peeling reddened skin although this is a latter symptom as opposed to a herald).

The Outnet prices are amazing at the moment- my Michael Kors for £85 and they look gorgeous.

Watching Mandela's memorial service in my dressing gown. I wish I had the ability to sing my way through grief like many of the South African people are doing. They have a signer too!

What should I wear with those new shoes- the gold Michael Kors stillies and yellow snake Guiseppe Zanotti's? Should I go Low-Fi on them and wear with smart pants or a jean or go all the way with a sequinned twenties style mid thigh mini and a slouchy midnight blue faded T? The skirt is in black/cream and navy paillettes.

Well done Marsha - I couldn't see anything for me :(

Mignonette · 10/12/2013 10:05

Marsha!!!!

That mini Gracie price is NUTS!

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 10:16

Mig both outfits sound fantastic. Is it for a particular thing?

I KNOW! I didn't know I wanted one til I saw it at that price. Even my Celine bag was 'only' £500 and that's only £50 more than the original Gracie. Crazy.

Mignonette · 10/12/2013 10:16

Bad girl Marsha

Just snapped up these snake brogues for my daughters birthday in January. She'll adore them but if she does not, I will Xmas Wink

There's Jimmy Choo ankle boots for crazy prices! And I love the Hindmarch tote too.

This Tory Burch is so pretty. It is a QueenCad colour.

Annianni · 10/12/2013 10:23

I could have bought loads, but didn't

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 10:34

That's very pretty Mig and great flats. No more here.

Turquoiseblue · 10/12/2013 10:36

darn it - missed my stuff on the outnet - spent too long deciding and then when i went to checkout it was sold - was going to get the AH prancer bag (bargainous) stupid of me to dither.

nice Haul Marsha -that was what i was pm ing linus about as she liked the Sarita dress and its on it. hope she bagged it.

LinusDKD · 10/12/2013 10:40

turq I sent a pm back! It is the Zarita not the Sarita dress I am after. Shame!

marsha did you see that DvF dress you pinned a while ago. You pinned the black one but now there is a brown one in the Outnet clearance.

Haven't seen anything that tickles my fancy apart from some magenta Rag & Bone skinnies but they are out of my size.

Mignonette · 10/12/2013 10:45

Yes you have to swoop then send back if unsure. I am still looking for a coat!

I don't have specific parties in mind Marsha other than Christmas Eve drinks and I probably won't go to the work party as have left even though I, like all ex colleagues will continue to be invited.

I dream of renting a house in somewhere lovely and having a MNV house stay. It'd be a mash up of glorious proportions. Can you imagine the going out preparations! I dream of us all descending upon Paris.
