From another thread:

"I have just bought some in midnight from Surfdome, they are priced £94.24, I got 20% off using discount code ASTYLE20 so I paid £75.39 and hopefully 8% cashback from Quidco.

www.surfdome.com/ash_boots_-ash_jalouse_boots-_midnight-147350 "

I just ordered some as they had them in my size, a size 4

(3, 4 and 6 available)

Let's hope it's a reliable site as I have never heard of them.

Happy birthday Dry! Cake How's the head? (I can hear the plink plink fizz from here Xmas Grin)

Day started early here too, with a delivery man at 8.50 on a Sunday. But he was bringing me my brown fur Zara hat, so I forgave him. Tried it on, looked a bit weird, then I realised if I folded it up around the edge, beanie style, it looked fab.

Trees are up, house is almost completely decorated and DH and I are off out to lunch, so all good which is just as well as the coming week looks like a trial. Have a good day, Oh fashionable ones x

Mignonette · 08/12/2013 11:32

Santa

Burger & Lobster is my current fave-went to to Harvey Nics branch a few days ago. yummy.

Braving Winter Wonderland next weekend with daughter, son and sons GF. I must need my head examining. Then a nighttime wander along the Thames so son's Gf can pretend she's in 'Love Actually'. She's hardly been to London so I'm excited for her. Any recomms for good places to eat along the South Bank/Tate Modern or opposite sides? We took her to Bodeans in Poland St last time. I tend to go to the places that aren't particularly teenager interesting. What is Bone Daddies like and can vegetarians/pescetarians eat there?

The other option is the Christmas Hell of Covent Garden although t'is pretty. Maybe Wahaca would suit or can anybody recommend anywhere else? My son is all about the burger so maybe Dirty Burger although the queues will be hell.

Joyeux Anniversaire dry!

mig don't know if it still exists but Baltic on Blackfriars Road is nice.

We used to live nearby and went there a couple of times.

There's lots of Restaurants on The Cut as well if you want to show DS and his GD the Old Vic.

santamarianovella · 08/12/2013 12:34

mig I have little experience with eating out at the south bank,
And although it can be crowded at this time,I still would go to covent garden, its soo beautiful, now really worth it,so much lovely resturants and cafes to try,and just walking around and looking at all the lights and decoration and stalls is truly amazing,we are planing on taking the dcs to see the Lego snow globe next weekend.

And I'm with your Ds, Nothing beats a big ,fat juicy burger with fries, yum! Its more like science, you must get it right, there should be a good balance with the main trio, bun, meat and cheese !or it can turn into a disaster.

Burger and lobster was heavenly,

heard very good things about dirty burger,we might give it a try.

Mignonette · 08/12/2013 12:50

We'' go to CG then en route to the river. I want her to see the river at Christmas- the most maginificent city view IMO.

There's Chanel at CG too!

Can't wait to see it!

Mignonette · 08/12/2013 14:31

YAY! It is something I am desperate to watch Santa. Have asked for it as a delayed Christmas gift.

We watched Santa Clause last night at my daughter's Santa with DH and DD reciting great chunks of dialogue and miming the strut to the sleigh! They love it. I do too
