shopafrolic · 06/12/2013 20:26

But I helped on the jeans right?

Drywhiteplease · 06/12/2013 20:37

Yup you did Shop. And the nails too.
Is it a pj Friday on MNV ? DH Christmas do tonight all 350 of them and the theme is glam Xmas Envy . I'm a celebrity and nails in prep for my Xmas do all 8 of us, not very glam, but I'm making an effort and hoping to persuade the fab 4 to move on to a wine bar after Hmm

QueenCadbury · 06/12/2013 20:53

Annoyingly our babysitter has double booked herself so we won't be going out tomorrow after all anymore. So I won't be posting pics of my shorts and sparkly top.

Anyone watching Robbie? I can't work out if I fancy him or not Confused

QueenCadbury · 06/12/2013 20:53

dry I'd go for navy too

Drywhiteplease · 06/12/2013 20:58

Robbie? Where?

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 20:59

That's a shame QueenC.

Santa that's tough, but am wondering if you can do what Sleep suggested and move together, but not sell the house and also keep the school place. Big hug, sounds stressful working it all out.

Insidious is on in 2 minutes, I am terrible at horror movies, but am tempted to have a look at it. Has anyone seen it?

Drywhiteplease · 06/12/2013 21:00

Ds has Shock I believe it's more thriller than full on gore

OneLittleLady · 06/12/2013 21:01

I've seen it Marsha it creeped me out and made me jump in a few places

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 21:02

Thanks One and Dry. I will start, but must turn it off if I get the creeps too much!

QueenCadbury · 06/12/2013 21:15

dry he was on bbc1 at the palladium. I'm now obviously on itv...

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 21:16

Ok the house with the bad lighting is irritating me, get some decent lighting Grin. Ok think we're switching to something else.

Drywhiteplease · 06/12/2013 21:16

Marsha message from DS " it plays with your mind. You'll have nightmares. It's very scary, I had my eyes shut for most of it"......you have been warned!

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 21:19

The Great Gatsby going on. I always regret horror when I have to go to te the loo at 3am!

Drywhiteplease · 06/12/2013 21:30

Marsha (and anyone else) what's your all time favourite film?

shopafrolic · 06/12/2013 21:33

Amelie for me

Right, early night for me. See you tomorrow Marsha

santamarianovella · 06/12/2013 21:35

gosh! you are all so very kind! Flowers

queen you did not sound negative at all, you are right, part of wanting to sell and buy immediately is that properties in london are always on the rise,so many foreigners are buying atm,so if we can afford a 4 bedroom house now, we might not be able to in two years time.

sleep at the beginning,we though "oh,that will be easy we will pay for his place" but after having a talk with the school, they had some concerns, because he will attend an international school, its one of the best ones but does not fallow a british curriculum , if we can get him into a british one they might take an exception, but the only british curriculum school in the entire country has a really long waiting list, even dh company, and its a big name, cant help us in that matter, not to mention way costly to pay for his place ,where we are moving is really expensive.

linus if the dcs were younger we would have moved in a heartbeat!

funny thing is both dh and i lived in various countries, but we have reached a stage where enough is enough,we dont want to do it again.

i was skyping with my mum earlier, and she was saying:dear god! why are you making such a huge deal! you have been moving all your life. she then told me :right now,you should only be concerned about how puffy your eyes look from all the crying, and go and fix your hair it looks terrible! that made me Grin, its her own wired way of telling me it will be ok!

thank you all for your lovely and kind advice, i feel kind a stupid and silly, i want to help him,but everything i say gets misunderstood.

will keep quiet for the next couple of days, and see what happens Smile.

OneLittleLady · 06/12/2013 21:35

Dry my all time favourite film is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 06/12/2013 21:36

I think I've seen Insidious. I expected it to be scary (DD1 told me it was freaky) but I actually laughed at most of the 'scary' bits. I found it ridiculous and not the least frightening. It takes quite a lot to frighten me these days (nothing can compare to my daily life for scare-factors!).

I made the mistake of visiting The Frugality earlier and completely fell in love with this Christian Lacroix for Petit Bateau Breton top. I hope it looks as good IRL

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 21:36

Night see you tomoz Shop Smile.

Ah that's hard Dry.

Priceless perhaps or The Devil Wears Prada. Not very high brow!

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 21:40

Love that top Grumpy.

As Santa your mum sounds lovely. Sort of thing we say to each other in our family.

QueenCadbury · 06/12/2013 21:40

My fave is when Harry met Sally.

santa things do often have a funny way of working themselves out and whatever you do there's no way of knowing whether the other decision would have been better.

santamarianovella · 06/12/2013 21:51

dry Its a toughie! Its a tie between fried green tomatoes and gone with the wind, I think I must have been a southern belle in my past life Wink

LinusDKD · 06/12/2013 21:55

I think mine is Dead Poets Society. I cried buckets when I first saw it.

Or The Breakfast Club. Pure nostalgia.

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2013 22:00

That reminds me, Good Will Hunting too.
