Grumpy I always wanted one of those velvet hairbands that had your name written on them in fabric paint but couldn't get one with my name on it for love nor money. The pains of having an unusual name Sad

shopafrolic · 01/09/2013 22:34

My going out outfit at Uni was black pleather trousers, black Wonderbra, black suit jacket, heels and a single white glove - classy raver! Grin

AmberNectarine · 01/09/2013 22:45

Can't remember what I was wearing when I met my DH (we work together), but the night we first kissed I was wearing a cream/black polka dot fitted boat neck blouse that buttoned at the back, a black pencil skirt and black pointed heels. Oh and a bright red coat. But that was straight from work, so not that impressive. On our first proper day I wore the Uniqlo cropped jeans I'm wearing on my blog, a purple cowl neck top, grey shoe-boots and a navy blazer.

santamarianovella · 01/09/2013 22:45

Decameron · 01/09/2013 22:46

I was in university 1990-94, Santa, I am old! That was the look I favoured then too. Ralph Lauren v popular, I still like it. Blush I spent a lot of time in Italy and took the loafers, RL etc on board.

My friends and I used to tut tut at the state of the Freshers in their grunge! And the state of us looking back! Was also very keen on mini kilts.

AmberNectarine · 01/09/2013 22:46

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2013 22:53

I lie the sound of the preppy looks. I switched from sloane to grunge in the blink of an eye. That'd be Melbourne. They still do it there.
