20th good for me too!

Haven't been around for a bit, have I crepeys. Sorry about that. Too busy obsessing about DS's school, and providing endless 'improving' activity for him for his last hols as my baby. Until next year.

Went to Lollibop festival yesterday - saw the lovely Sid and Andy (CBeebies presenters), Mr Maker, Dr Ranj, Peppa Pig, Postman Pat, and various other sponge figures occupied by bitter RADA graduates. DS had a whale of a time, dressed all day in his waterproofs, then his pyjamas which he refused to take off. He then removed his wellies, so walked about in just his socks. I could almost feel the cats-bum mouths.

DD2 has ordered this horror which she says she is going to wear with pink and black stripy footless tights or these. My eyes!

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 12:15

Houseguests have gone and I am drowning in piles of washing (clean) which needs to be put away. I also need to sleep.

Cremolafoam · 17/08/2013 12:23

Will it be evening thing or daytime?

But allows you to post twice BTM?

bigTillyMint · 17/08/2013 15:22

bigTillyMint · 17/08/2013 15:25

Cremo, I would happily do an all dayer but will be at work till 4.... Are we thinking London again?

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 15:50

I suspect I will be back at work then. As they have to pay me, they have to find me something to do...

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 15:50

And I'm not cheap. Grin

motherinferior · 17/08/2013 16:15

OK, an S&B question: eyebrows. I've taken to shading mine in with powder and it makes a big difference: short of going down the whole HD route, is it worth exploring any particular products and/or home tinting?

Cremolafoam · 17/08/2013 18:16

Ok if evening , I can book a slightly less crack of dawn flight then.
London would be grand for me - suggestions for meet-up location would be good and I can plan a bit then.Smile
???

OP posts:
Cremolafoam · 17/08/2013 18:20

MI I get a thread on the old eyebrows - hurts like f* but keeps them from looking like exploded caterpillars.
Not an HD fan although extraordinarily popular in my office.

Congrats Ruby. You are basically Tulisa (The Female Boss, innit)

MI I quite like my Mac pencil for brows.

Herbs I would be really fecked off in your sitch with nada and an out of date website. I really hope it all comes good.
I have been home alone since thurs morning. Bliss. Have been sloth today though as bracing hike with sis ended with tapas bar and too much to drink. Am considering doing some evening decorating. Have not touched my novel in three weeks. Too scared to now!!!

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 18:26

I think you should try the "Scouse Brow" MI. Grin

Where shall we go? How about that Waterloo Kitchen place we went to? That was good. And I can walk home from there too.

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 18:29

I have had a huge clear out of my wardrobe, which is now very capsule. I am tending to agree with MI that T shirts do nothing for you, so have binned most of mine. And shapeless tunics. I may be fat, but I don't need to look like a sack of shit, do I?

MrsSchadenfreude · 17/08/2013 18:30
motherinferior · 17/08/2013 18:34

MrsS, I will take you shopping.

I do indeed get my brows threaded... It's a whole new world of brow obsessionGrin

Cremolafoam · 17/08/2013 18:35

Mrs s I have also decided to give up The Tunic look as I have finally worked out that empire line just make my norks look mahoosive and that basically the tunic is screaming
" I am fat I wear tunics' at everyone who'll listen. Tshirts likewise unless under a flattering curve sweeping jacket or cardi.
I have recently discovered Label Lab which promotes unusual swoopy assymetric items which look edgy and non Frum . ( I hope)
