I quite like the odd tunic, within reason Grin

Cremolafoam · 17/08/2013 19:38

The think is I am strangely drawn to the tunic. I have amassed many .
Better without the empire band I think though as that helps with the Im not six months pregnant Effect.

Waterloo kitchen - is it good??

Rubes when I know where I'm going ill let u know - thanks for the offer .Thanks Could be gatwick Luton stansted or heathrow - depends on time and price .
No doubt I will be furnished with a list of Things That Must Be Got In London and will have to do shopping at some stageWink

I'm not sure where a tunic ends, and a dress begins. Depending on the answer, I could have lots of tunics or none. Whatever they are, they have to have a waist otherwise I look a size 22.

Little DS has just read me, perfectly, a bedtime book called 'Me', about a tiny penguin. The last line in the book is 'I may be small but I can see, the biggest thing in the world to you is me.' I may have cried.

Don't worry Ruby, it's fun when you forget your camisole!!!

My small birthday munchkins needed final telling offs at 2.40am Grin mine was asleep but two were still awake and playing on an iPad someone had brought with them... At an 8 yo sleepover. And frankly we must have gelatined four cows with the amount of Haribo's...

MI, I can recommend the Benefit wax colour thing for eyebrows, as it is a little more gentle than pencil. Also the Space NK in store brow place is very good... Not too dark at all or Scousey or TOWIE Grin

bigTillyMint · 18/08/2013 05:27

Waterloo Kitchen sounds perfect (simple bus ride for me!)
MI, my friend and DD (with whomwe are on hol) got teir eyebrows dyed before they came away by the Thai market-stall lady who also did their nails. Lucky she threaded first as they are from Mancs and the dark Scousebrow look has only narrowly been avoided!

Feel like we have been away a month, and we still have today and tomorrow. I have managed to not utter my holiday catch-phrase yet (we are never going on holiday again) though I have thought it at times!

Cremolafoam · 18/08/2013 11:13

Lol @ catchphrase BTM .
Every holiday my dad always used to say with some ferocity
" you'll enjoy yourselves whether you like it or not"

Confused

My mother used to smack my legs to make me dance at parties and "enjoy myself." I think she would quite like to do the same with DD1, who is much happier sitting in a corner with a book, or chatting quietly.

I am making a half hearted attempt to have a clear out and have half done our bedroom and the kitchen, with the result that both look considerably worse than they did before I started.

I can probably manage to suck on a cocktail Ruby. It has been known...

QueenQueenie · 18/08/2013 20:57

Cocktails? Cocktails!

Blackduck · 18/08/2013 21:39

Is that where we went last time? Has vague memories of Waterloo station and jugs of cocktails.....

MrsSchadenfreude · 18/08/2013 22:05

The first time we met up, I was sipping mineral water as I was still hungover from my epic night out the night before. Won't do that this time.

CointreauVersial · 18/08/2013 23:09

I'm back! MN access was tricky while I was away - did you miss me? Wink

YY to 20th September meetup. I'm looking forward to meeting those of you I haven't yet met (oh, alright then, and the rest of you). I'm expecting cocktails.
