I love polishes, I'm not a fan of make up, but nailpolish is the equivilant of shoes, or jewellery. It finishes an outfit.

Today I am wearing Essie school of hard rocks, an ace dark teal. With a barry m yellow topaz glitter topcoat. The topcoat looks like models own, but is half the price, from superdrug, buy 2 get a web or croc effect free. And the essie came from cheapsmells.com

Hopefully our internet software at work has blocked your link on the grounds that it is "Pornography & Adult Material"!! Just how sexy is your nail polish?! Grin

PS today I am wearing Sally Hansen Haute Chocolate which came in this month's Glossybox.

I quite like it but it reminds me of nail polish my Mum used to wear in the early 80s. Very frosted brown/ bronze colour

Wait until dark looks lovely - the other one looks like the chill mix you get on the tables to Pizza Hut Grin sorry!

Now I LOVE OPI glitters - the full on jobbies, but that Living Daylights is too sparse. I've just watched a QVC OPI show and it applies with glitter speaced out in clear polish. NOT ENOUGH GLITTER

Ahem.

That Ciate looks fabulicious. I want that too, but have just bought another Bond OPI colour - The World is not Enough Blush

Ahem. I have totally bought Tomorrow Never Dies (bright royal purple type colour). Am planning on putting it on my nails on Sunday. The World is Not Enough also looked gorgeous, but slightly worried it would make me look like a cadaver with my warm toned skin (after saying that it wouldn't matter too much. Am eating my words).

Also splashed out on Nail Envy, as I need my nails to remain as decent as possible as I am so busy seeing clients atm that I am needing to paint my nails regularly to keep them looking decent. Do you use nail envy as a base coat as well as doing the whole week-long session every now and again?

chanel coromandel as i'm a ponce who likes to spend way too much on nail varnish Grin

Report
Pinot · 20/10/2012 09:50

I use Nail Envy as a base coat (2 coats) and use it exclusively if/when nails look rubbish.

Report
Pinot · 20/10/2012 09:51

hang on ... chanel coromandel is a polish as well as an úber cool fragrance? Shock

I have just bought a nail strengthener from avon! now to find an inexpensive, good topcoat. I reckon I might have to accidentally buy the boots one. and while its 3 for 2....

I like no7 polishes, their totally teal is a lovely dense colour.

Love having my nails painted, but always feel that my fingers let me down :-(
I have really dry and sometimes cracked (which is painful if I get remover in it) fingers which a lot of the time is eczema, but around the nail edges the skin is really dry, rough and ragged which spoils the look.
Does anyone else get this/got any advice for me?

You all know that TK Maxx are selling Essie nail polishes at £10 for three don't you?! I got a sheer natural, deep chocolate and a hot pink in my set.
