Inspired by our reminiscenses about block heeled court shoes on another thread and my misty recollections about working in Next, what did you used to wear? To work, especially

Lots o' Navy

Lots of gilt buttons, and BURGUNDY. Mucho burgundy. And bodies! ARGGH bodies. I had a peach one IIRC. Pale 10 denier tights

I always wanted one of those velvet hooded cloaks on Camden market.

Never bought one though Sad

Now I have to wear make up to look even half human, I'm pleased I spent my youth not bothering.

These poor over plastered young souls these days.

cybbo · 06/04/2012 10:59

cocolepew · 06/04/2012 11:04

I'm having a hysterectomy soon, so the time my womb and ovaries are taken out I'll be pounds lighter.

cybbo · 06/04/2012 11:05

Yes just to see if I'm physically capable of actually feeling hunger as opposed to stuffing my face like a dervish when the clock strikes 7.30, 12 and 6.00

(and 10.30pm Blush)

Have no kids here today, or H, hence leisurely peel mask and still in jarmies, artfully applying a smoky eye for some reason

maybe I dont kow who I am either....

HouseOfBamboo · 06/04/2012 12:10

Lordy - early 90s fashion...

Casual = floaty oversized silk blouse from Pilot, with black leggings (not so different to now Hmm ). Boots weren't so good then though, I think that combo was often teamed with fat trainers...

Office = navy and more navy, big hoopy earrings, the odd dash of pink. Hair = short bob.

Waistcoats were very in circa 1995 iirc
