My nightmare get up would be FitFlops, mid calf length trousers accessorised by shin tattoo or one of those vile ones on foot or (worse still neck.

Wobbly midriff undulating under t shirt accessorised by fleece, those creole hoops and poorly dyed hair.

Funnily enoiugh a look I regularly catch sight of in the bar at Manchester airport at about 6:45 am, cradling a pint of Stella en route to Gran Canarias.

Dogsby · 16/05/2011 15:59

no no no and your arse is still HUGE

I have 2 pairs of full length linen trousers - one navy and one white (yes, horrors of horrors WHITE Wink) I wear with fitted T-shirts and a cardi and flip flops and I think I look nice .

3/4 length trousers of any style are not for me - nor for many of the mums I see at the school gate in them either IMHO... I guess they think they look nice though so each to their own.

Please lets not get started on tattoos... I have read vicious threads on here before about those Wink

Dogsby · 16/05/2011 16:08

Let's face it.
Most British women aren't blessed with great legs.
So why would one choose a pair of trousers that cunningly shortens leg and widens arse?

I don't get it.

Dogsby · 16/05/2011 16:11

speak for yourself moony
me and cybbo are like legs11

Ok the problem with linen trews is they grow exponentially throughout the day. So what started off as a snug, pressed pair of trousers ends up flapping like a bedraggled hessian sack come elevenses.

SOOO I say dont buy anything linen (that includes you GGIRL) Its the divvels fabric.

Instead get thine arses into FCUK who are selling loads of really nice cotton widey legged rolled up trews that suit all shapes and will keep theirs. ANd are FAR more stylish and JUSt as practical.

THATS what you shoudl wear instead

moondog · 16/05/2011 16:13

Mine aren't at all bad either.
I have to ask for a 'long'.
Mind you, I work at keeping 'em nice.
No Stella Artois as a morning refreshemnt for me.
No sirrreee.

Rannaldini · 16/05/2011 16:15

yy chirop told me to wear fit flops
was eyeing feet not legs at the time

MamaG · 16/05/2011 16:16

I once saw a man in a fleece with a LION'S FACE on the back. I tried to take a pic to send to (oops nearly did a twitter @ then) SOMEONE but the man saw me. Horrified
