This cup has thrown up a good few properly entertaining matches this time but you do wonder if that's due to the differences tween PL & other Leagues.

I saw something about how all the English teams this season have a bird on their crests: Liverpool, Newcastle, Palace, Spurs. (Is that a bad omen for Chelsea?!)

Hate that you can't change names mid thread, would have changed for a Spurs win but couldn't cope with a whole thread with a Spurs name.

Very scrappy game, but kept me hooked & am also happy for Ange. The journalist who asked the genius/clown question deserved his ire. Unbelievably rude. But that's always been the problem with football hasn't it, everyone else is an expert 🤔

Oh, yes, you're right - so the winning teams are all associated with a bird via crest OR nickname (Liver bird, eagle, magpie, cockerel). Maybe you can find some sort of bird-association for Chelsea somehow! 😄
