Yeah, we got lucky there for a change. But then their goal could have been disallowed for offside in the build up, so it evens out.

Onwards we go

I see PGMOL have confirmed Tarkowski should have seen red for seeing red!

Very disappointing result for Brighton tonight. Not sure what happened there, will have to read the reports tomorrow

Perhaps it was Aston Villa being such a good side.

Cuwins · 03/04/2025 17:55

@LlynTegidyes of course but by the table there shouldn’t be that much difference between the the sides.

MaybeNotBob · 03/04/2025 21:14

loved Martinelli's back-heel assist for Saka! A thing of beauty!

But now more injuries...

@DuncinToffee That's disgusting - what the hell is wrong with people?!

MaybeNotBob · 04/04/2025 00:12

Just missed that the result last night meant it was St Totteringham's Day!

Happy St Totteringham's Day to all followers!

FFS!

PGMOL 1 - 1 Arsenal

How so?

DuncinToffee · 05/04/2025 14:43

😂I thought that was going to be the reaction

Rubbish game for both teams, early kick off with added end of season nothing game vibe.

A lot of non-Arsenal fans on twitter etc saying how much they hate Arsenal but ppl are beginning to see we just don't catch a break.
Decisions that wouldn't go against other teams go against us.

Def concerned about how MLS getting officiated for sure.

A big United blogger said he thinks we are approaching double figures of points dropped because of officiating decisions.

There is just no accountability and it is very bloke-y culture where they/VAR would rather agree with a mate than call it

burblish · 05/04/2025 16:57

Cor, the Palace v Brighton match sounds absolutely bonkers! I'm looking forward to watching the highlights of that one on MoTD tonight.

Tarkan · 05/04/2025 17:18

My first away local derby in Montrose today and what a result for Arbroath. I think we only need one point to win the league now.

Really bad head injury for Wighton of Montrose though (he used to play for us too). Looked like he was knocked out cold and last we heard he was off to hospital, rumours of a fracture on his face. I hope he’ll be ok as it’s awful to have that happen in front of you.

DuncinToffee · 05/04/2025 17:54

You Arsenal supporters do like to whinge. Sorry but you simply didn't play well enough to beat our limited squad today.

I do hope your beat Real on Tuesday.

Get ready for that pitch invasion @Tarkan Grin

I will not be watching it! Not a good week for us

We’ll be televised next weekend too so you all might be able to spot me if we get to do that. 😁

We didn't play well today, but that should never have been a penalty, and there were at least 2 blatant second yellows not given.

I don't blame Everton in the slightest for taking advantage, but anyone thinking the refereeing is the same for everyone is evidently not seeing clearly.

DuncinToffee · 05/04/2025 20:27

Arsenal only got 1 yellow, so you are right there...

You are also right about bad refereeing but not that it only applies to Arsenal

And a little fact, Jake O'Brien is the first player to receive a VAR yellow card Confused

Yes, I didn't think that VAR could do that, but I am pleased that they can. He deserved it.

Ben White needs to be careful (and start behaving).

MaybeNotBob · 05/04/2025 22:08

Yes, but he also didn't get a second yellow for blatantly barging Raya.

It really isn't the same for every team. I know you'd like it to be that way, but it's simply not.

MaybeNotBob · 05/04/2025 22:10

As I say, I'm not blaming Everton!
