Very good. Happy that the wall was about 15 metres away, it was perfect for him to put it over. I saw it early, even before the kick, you could see how far back they were. It was beneficial for us.

I'm a Liverpool fan and got to congratulate PSG. They won the game tonight and battered us last week in all but score.
We did play quite well tonight but couldn't take our chances and by the end, I had a feeling we'd lose as 90% of our best penalty takers were not on the pitch.
Hopefully not too many injuries

Went to bed just after half-time in the Norwich-Wednesday match, with my Owls 2-0 down.
And woke up to find they had an 8 minute burst of goals and turned it into a 2-3 away win.

How insulting to Butlins.

the thing about this United stadium is, they are cutting lunch for all employees except the first team (who can afford to buy their own) and other cost-cutting exercises, but talking about building this stadium. Odd. Aren't they already deeply in debt?

If any other (type of) company was doing this, there would be serious questions asked.

The Ratcliffe interview with Neville where he plead poverty on behalf of the club coming out the day before the new stadium announcement was incredibly tone deaf. You can’t say ‘oh if we hadn’t stopped providing free chips at lunchtime or giving the steward of the week a fifty quid bonus or allowing children to continue to attend games at a reduced rate the club would have gone under by Christmas’ and in the very next breath announce you’ll be dropping 2 billion on a new gaff for the lads to play in.

It’s also evident that PSR isn’t meant for the likes of them given the size of their debt.

To be frank though, it looks like Atleti were done up like a kipper there. You've got to really want to disallow that penalty. And that doesn't bode well for the refereeing against us...

Probably not a popular opinion, but I am a fan of Diego Simeone and thought both he and Oblak came across very well after the game.

Jérémie Aliadière was saying last night that he would rather play RM because it is very difficult to score at the Metropolitano.

They were also saying that they couldn't understand why Arteta doesn't play Martinelli as a striker. Apparently, he joined us as a striker.

SleepingGiant, I too felt so sorry for JA, he slipped and the double touch was not intentional. Harsh rule, unfairly applied. Ds2 and I were watching and I never ever SAW the double touch at the time, although ds2 as a young football referee, who also plays for his local team, spotted it!
