Another handy 3 points for Arbroath tonight. That should be our last midweek match now as well. We're now 5 points clear of Stenny but they have a game in hand now so can't rest on our laurels.

JasonTindallsTan · 05/03/2025 13:55

Lewis Hall out for the rest of the season. That’s our left hand side decimated just before the biggest game of the season. Good old Newcastle…

Half time music at the World Cup final with Coldplay. At least that's four Englishmen at the final I suppose.

DuncinToffee · 05/03/2025 18:02

Great time to sort out drinks and snacks, can't stand Coldplay 😅

they tried that once here with the cup final. German fans said "NEIN!" and it has never been attempted again.

So this is another reason for me to boycott the World Cup. Looks like I'm out forever on that.

Loving seeing Liverpool under the kosh against PSG, because you never/barely see Liverpool under the kosh in premier league.

DuncinToffee · 05/03/2025 20:52

Very lucky Konate didn't get a red card

Yes, he does seem to get away with more than most defenders.

Yes, they are certainly getting a taste of their own medicine this evening.

The fact that they’re still not losing this game is unbelievable. PSG have been unplayable for the most part.

All set up for a last minute winner from Salah 🙄😂

JasonTindallsTan · 05/03/2025 21:47

Or an 86th minute winner from Harvey Elliott.

Spawny fecking bastards 😂

burblish · 05/03/2025 21:56

And the Reds go marching on, on, on!

I'm sure there are a lot of people tonight who will have plenty of salt to go with the chips on their shoulders (including that dickhead Rio Ferdinand). Personally, I'm glad all three English teams left in the Champions League won their first legs.

Oblomov25 · 05/03/2025 22:04

Ha ha, can't believe they won!

JasonTindallsTan · 05/03/2025 22:05

Im happy for Liverpool to progress, ideally I wanted them to have to go hell for leather in the return fixture to tire them out somewhat for their game after that 👀 but a 1-0 lead is a slim enough margin for them not to be able to sit back I reckon (hope) 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Excellent win for us, never win at Fulham. And very impressive form currently

Brefugee · 08/03/2025 18:54

Gladbach absolutely woeful against Mainz last evenig. 100% tackle free football is never going to work out.

Wednesday had a good win at Plymouth today so I'm happy about that.
Gladbach have a small museum at their stadium, they've had a small exhibition - all togged out like a little pub, which you can hire with friends for a couple of hours, with a few pub games in there too - and all sorts of mementos and film clips etc etc of Gladbach und die Briten (Gladbach and the British) going right back to the beginning of German football. They played Dulwich hamlet in the 1920s! We went wearing our English club shirts and the amount of people who stopped to talk to us about English football was amazing. They know so much about English football - not just the Premier league.

A second win for Gills under John Coleman's reign, first came last weekend. Credit to him for changing the team and formation, it was a good game to watch and very warm and sunny sat in the stands. Still sitting in 19th but other results went our way so we are pulling away from the dreaded drop zone.

Hope the great Psycho is recovering well, with that amazing fighting spirit of his.

Yes I hope so too, the BBC update sounded positive.

DuncinToffee · 08/03/2025 22:03

Our players were still on their warm weather training sunbeds, terrible game but still managed a draw.

Know it happens but still bonkers how Luton kept going up and made it into the premier league last season and now likely going down this season. Very quick

Oblomov25 · 09/03/2025 16:03

Spurs were awful yet again. How we got a draw I don't know.

The last week watching us against Alkmaar was the worst I've seen Spurs playing for years. The worst for years.

burblish · 09/03/2025 17:11

I can't bring myself to cheer for Man Utd, and unfortunately it isn't possible for both teams to lose, so I will settle for a draw! 😁

MaybeNotBob · 09/03/2025 18:29

Disappointing, and yet somehow inevitable...

You got your wish!

We just weren't good enough.

It will be tough to get top 4 if we carry on playing like this.
