  1. Which team you support.
Everton
  1. Which team(s) you loathe.
Don't care much about the red shite, Liverpool
  1. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team.
DD is nor really interested but DS is a Toffee. We got him the kit when he started football club at school and that was it, despite living in the South. Born not manufactured. He studies in Liverpool now and is on the waiting list for a season ticket.
  1. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/Any leagues world wide/Fallout from the pandemic and having no fans in stadiums.)
A difficult one, low expectations this year, expect to finish somewhere in the middle. Man City and Chelsea for the title

Can't wait to see and hear the fans!

Right now it’s hard being an Arsenal fan Sad

(Obviously hate Tottenham)

Man City to win, Chelsea second.

Arsenal 8th.

cheapskatemum · 13/08/2021 20:53
  1. Tottenham
  1. Arsenal (obvs)
  1. DSs support Celtic as DH supports them. Fair enough, can't see it being much of a problem.
  1. Just really looking forward to watching footie again & seeing some of the names from the Euros playing in the Premier League.
LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 13/08/2021 22:32

Arsenal went quickly from the very top to very bottom...

Happy with the win Wednesday esp on penalties! The bringing on Kepa move paid off..lets see how tommrow goes

ArcherDog · 13/08/2021 22:52

We were shocking but we were also missing our best (and only) two strikers to illness.

Not taking anything away from Brentford who were excellent first half.

Barbadosgirl · 13/08/2021 23:21
  1. My home team is Wycombe Wanderers (Div 1) but we are also a Spurs family.
  2. Millwall from my Peckham days. Obviously we are meant to hate Arsenal but my Gramp was such a gooner I just can’t.
  3. Big boy takes the lead. He loves Spurs. Littlie just hates football.
  4. I have a horrible feeling Spurs are quite a way from hitting rock bottom. I reckon Wycombe are going to rock it if they can stop with all the injuries.

  1. Which team you support. Aston Villa
  2. Which team(s) you loathe. Right now, not keen on Man City
  3. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team. Failing miserably. They've only ever seen Villa play but as we live away from Birmingham they support another team!
  4. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/Any leagues world wide) I fancy us for an unexpected FA Cup win🏆
cheapskatemum · 14/08/2021 09:04

@Barbadosgirl I grew up supporting WW, as lived in the Thames Valley.

I think Brentford had flashes of brilliance in the 2nd half too. Great game to kick off the season.

Oblomov21 · 14/08/2021 09:21

Spurs
Arsenal
Ds's don't have a choice Wink
Man City . If Guardiola buys Kane for 100 million, he'll have spent 1 billion in his time there. Nuts.

We are going to Spurs v Man City tomorrow. My first time in the new stadium. Dh's friend has 2 tickets so Dh was going anyway. But then Dh got offered 2 Hospitality tickets. So he's in the posh bit. Me and Ds2 in the south stand. So excited.

Barbadosgirl · 14/08/2021 09:23

@cheapskatemum they are such a great club! Ainsworth let my eldest climb on his back a few years ago at a pre-season friendly and told him it was ok to support Spurs and WW.

Barbadosgirl · 14/08/2021 09:24

@DrEllie I also hate Man City quite a lot at the mo!

WhiteHartLane · 14/08/2021 11:39

  1. Spurs. Go to a lot of home matches of my local League 1 club Gillingham FC.
  2. Millwall and MK Dons. Don't like Arsenal to do well but don't hate them.
  3. DS1 not into football. DS2 loves it and is a Spurs fan.
  4. City/Chelsea to win the PL. Tottenham 6th with Kane 9th-11th without Grin

@Barbadosgirl - looking forward to seeing The Beast back at Priestfield again, was sad when Gillingham let him go!

Barbadosgirl · 14/08/2021 12:55

@WhiteHartLane my youngest is wearing his beast mode hoodie today!!!

DuncinToffee · 14/08/2021 13:49

Just for us non Wycombe fans, who is The Beast?

OP posts:
Barbadosgirl · 14/08/2021 15:51

Adebayo Akinfenwa. Quite the character!

DuncinToffee · 14/08/2021 17:00

Akinfenwa, I could have guessed Grin

DuncinToffee · 14/08/2021 17:03

Great second half for the Toffees, 3-1! 💙⚽

I am sure you had a great time today Oblomov

OP posts:
Barbadosgirl · 15/08/2021 19:42

We were there too @Oblomov21 absolute scenes!!!!

Barbadosgirl · 15/08/2021 19:43

The weekend started with Arsenal losing to a team who have not seen top flight football since 1947, then Wycombe winning 3-1, then THAT MATCH at Spurs!!

Oblomov21 · 15/08/2021 19:52

Very enjoyable Barbados Grin

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 15/08/2021 19:56
  1. Which team you support. Man Utd
  1. Which team(s) you loathe. Liverpool, Arsenal. Dislike City but don’t loathe them.
  1. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team. DS supports Spurs, following DH. He adores Kane so will be interested to see how he feels if he does jump ship.
  1. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/Any leagues world wide) Chelsea for the league. They look a seriously tight ship now. Reckon Atleti will win la liga again. As a Real fan (lived in Madrid for a while) it has been really interesting and mildly amusing to watch Barca implode. I do worry the league will turn on Real next though.
MrsJackGrealish · 15/08/2021 20:33

My hairband twitched so I guess I was summoned.

DuncinToffee · 15/08/2021 22:40

Couldn't have you miss out on a Jack photo Wink
