What on Earth is this and what do I do with it?!

This is in a VERY delicate area and is absolute agony.

This is a coincidence that this has just popped up on the page. I squeezed a similar one last night, same place, upper inside thigh. V painful but not now

I wouldnt have been able to view it, too fat unfortunately. I get them before my period now but years ago before perimenopause I used to get massive ones in my armpits. So painful, awful

This sounds an awful lot like the HS I used to get (Hidradenitis suppurativa) like a pp upthread mentioned. Nasty, nasty condition, huge boils in armpits & groin area. The GPs spent years thinking it was a staph infection, but was eventually diagnosed properly.

A paste of tea tree oil and turmeric works like magic. But if its to big or embedded it'll probably need to be surgically popped.

I had bc a big spot on my leg nice and I squeezed it, loads of stuff came out, plus a hair sort of sprung out so must have been ingrown. Hope that happens when you pop that beast!

I had an ingrown on my bikini line. It wasn’t as “heady” but I decided to squeeze it when aboard the toilette one day. It hit the ceiling with force. I dug around a bit and nothing else.

except it came back and I ended up having surgery to remove what effectively grew to a third vulva 🤣

je ne regrette rien

Haven’t RTFT but I get these every so often. You must NOT pop them under any circumstances. Hot baths, hot flannel against the affected area, paracetamol to keep down the fever and any pain, and a course of antibiotics. Ask for flucloxacillin or co-amoxiclav. Good luck
