Laundry can be a surprisingly personal thing - whether you have a special way of hanging out your clothes or a foolproof way of getting your clothes to smell great. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to hear what you consider the most important when it comes to laundry, and what you’d love your laundry detergent to do.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We have some people tell us that scent is the key to a great wash, others who won’t compromise of softness or those who are all about natural ingredients or the gentleness of the formula. We would love to know what you just cannot not go without?”

Do you focus on getting rid of any odour from your clothes? Perhaps it’s important to you that your laundry products are skin-friendly for the entire family? Maybe you put a lot of energy into keeping your clothes in great condition? Are you a lover of fabric conditioner, keen to ensure that your clothes are all super soft?

Whatever the most important aspect of laundry is to you, share this on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

it has to be fresh and clean and the laundry basket shouldn't get too full

vonniebab2 · 11/06/2018 08:13

Smell fresh stain free and soft fabrics

phillie1 · 11/06/2018 08:18

stains coming out

happysouls · 11/06/2018 08:23

I don't think there is one all important thing, it is all things combined! Nice clean smelling soft clothes or bedding, all lingering smells and marks gone. Kind to the skin too!

bevmichelle47 · 11/06/2018 08:38

Definitely the cleaness and aroma of the clothes when washed!

shellywkd · 11/06/2018 08:39

Has to be school uniform as it all needs washing differently. There is her blazer that needs a short delicate wash with no softener, her shirts that need pre soaking in vanish first and her pe kit.

AR2012 · 11/06/2018 08:47

Its clean and smells fresh.

jelleng · 11/06/2018 08:59

A good conditioner to soften up the clothes and a nice smell too

ThemisA · 11/06/2018 09:03

I use liquid soap because of sensitive skin, I also check for tissues and miscellaneous items in pockets - won't declare what I have washed from pockets before, suffice it to say it is dog related!!

SSCRASE123 · 11/06/2018 09:04

Making sure that clothes retain their brightness and don't fade is the most important thing but also getting the clothes outside to dry/air make them smell so much fresher.

Ganne1 · 11/06/2018 09:25

Letting them air in the garden, for those lovely fresh-air smells (and watching for the horrible neighbour who is always lighting wood-burning stoves in his garden!)

KARINAJ83 · 11/06/2018 09:35

smelling clean is definitely at the top but also that it comes out resembling the same colour it went in.

There's always a sneaky item that gets in and changes the colour of (usually) my favourite thing!

bubbleybooboo · 11/06/2018 09:39

The freshness of the laundry is the most important aspect for me. Not just down to the detergent as the way you dry the laundry goes towards this too. Love the smell of washing thats been blowing on the line

Katieraventimeout · 11/06/2018 09:43

Clean and no skin reactions

topsy73 · 11/06/2018 09:48

Making sure any stains are out, the smell of fresh laundry is one that cannot be beaten!

glenka · 11/06/2018 09:51

the most important thing is that it does a very good job at getting things clean the first time and that it leaves clothes smelling nice and clean and fresh.

footdust · 11/06/2018 09:51

Clean and fresh smelling.

shroney · 11/06/2018 09:58

It has to be Eczema friendly and low scent is really important for me, as well as leaving the clothes clean and fresh.

janeyf1 · 11/06/2018 09:58

Most important aspect is that the laundry is cleaned, stain free and smells fresh

lulumajor · 11/06/2018 09:59

Making sure things stay white rather than changing colour!

BL0SS0M · 11/06/2018 10:06

clean and smells nice and clean

nettymay · 11/06/2018 10:08

Clothes to smell fresh and clean - no stains. Hang washing outside with pegs - always do it yourself - family 'hangings' make clothes hard to iron!!

emmav6 · 11/06/2018 10:11

I love to be able to smell the softner fragrance after my washing is dried and put away, esp on bedding!

michael888 · 11/06/2018 10:36

Most important thing - that the clothes come out of the machine clean!

Ranita · 11/06/2018 10:40

Eczema issues here so anything that does not make our skin react is of outmost importance.
