Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

We've already started on the Easter crafts - bunting, window decorations etc.
We'll be having hot cross buns for breakfast on Good Friday. Will probably go to a church service.
Saturday will be a normal day - clubs, shopping, etc.
We'll have an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday morning (DD has designed a poster already) and then have family over for lunch.
Monday will be relaxing before going back to school and work the next day. I fancy a PJ and DVD day myself. DD will probably dig out her egg making set which takes ages, doesn't produce half-decent products and is a bugger to clean. But she likes it and I tend to mutter 'let's wait until Easter' whenever she wants to get it out.

This might be something a little different.

I come from a community of competitive dancers. We are fundraising at the moment for costumes, set and travel in order to take our choreography on tour around the UK + even a visit to Asia to various dance championships.

This weekend it's the Blackpool Ballroom.

But we're fundraising the weekend before Easter: I've got some hollow plastic eggs (x50) and we will be running a "FIND A FIVER" game. We'll put a fiver in one of the 50 eggs and people can pay a pound to choose their egg. Most will have five delicious mini eggs and ONE will have a fiver. Everyone's a winner! Will be tough not to scoff the eggs while we fill them though...

We'll be spending it with family where we all get together and do crafts, hunt eggs, eat and generally spend some quality time together. They live in the proper countryside so there'll be country walks and farm visits. It's three generations together and all the kids are under 8 so lots of fun with the eater bunny and egg hunting. We'll also, as our own family outing do a national trust hunt. We do at least one, sometimes up to 4 or 5 at our favourite nt properties. We do it every year and the kids love it - as do we.

On easter Sunday, we will be going to church service in the morning. In the afternoon, we'll be back at the church for the easter egg hunt, it's lots of fun, DC love finding eggs and running about.
We may also paint eggs then roll them down the hill across from our house.

Easter crafts are in full swing here already. On East Sunday MIL is coming over and we are having a big roast of spring lamb with all the trimmings. We are going to make an Easter bonnet with our son all together. Our son is a huge fan of those surprise egg videos on YouTube so I have bought 30 of the plastic empty eggs to fill with chocolate, little cars and toys for him to find on an Easter egg hunt-he is going to be so excited!

Easter hunt in a garden in Wales, with lots and lots of eggs and furry chicks and all sorts. DS wants a really hard one this year apparently!
Roast Lamb of course too - and maybe a trip to some heritage site.

We're going camping - actual sleep on the ground in a tent camping! I haven't done that since I was a teenager! Might be the start of a new family hobby, might be the last time! Who knows?

We always go to an egg hunt at our local NT place (sometimes more than one as we have a few nearby). We may also be putting up our caravan awning (we have a seasonal pitch at a site that opens Easter weekend) but that depends very much on the weather!

We're also going away for a few days in the New Forest. Again hoping very much the weather improves!

Oddly, my DS has decided that he wants to cook a 'family meal' (his words for dinner with us and his grandparents). He is 7, just, and he wants to go to the shop to get food and then cook it. So, I guess I shall be paying for the food, and 'helping'. And probably clearing up too.

I've given up chocolate/biscuits/sweets/cakes until Easter...so I will be scoffing chocolate like my life depends on it!!

This Easter we will spend as much time with family as we possibly can. I work full time and any Bank Holidays are a lovely time to spend with my DS(5). I imagine that if the weather is fine we will try to get out and do some nature walks, ride our bikes and possibly even venture out in our soon to be bought (ancient) campervan. My DS is not very crafty, has a low attention span for such things, so we will concentrate more on physical activities that may wear him out a bit.

I'll be taking my hubby, toddler and newborn to Spain for my bestie's wedding and I can't flipping wait !!!

We will be doing an Easter egg hunt around the house. Watching lots of movies, sitting on our bums and getting fat! Then me and my daughter always like to bake an Easter cake for everyone as well. We get the grandparents round, eat roast lamb and simnel cake. LUSH!

My dd's birthday falls on good Friday this year so we are celebrating the day with family and cake and our nieces will get a little party bag with kinder eggs in them. Easter Sunday will be a roast dinner and lots of chocolate!

We'll be on holiday in the U.S. but will find a Catholic Church to attend on Easter Sunday as DS is a catholic and Easter is a bigger deal than Christmas.

We plan to take some chocolate eggs with us from the UK as I don't like American chocolate, so we'll hopefully scoff them by the pool!

I am sad as Cadbury choc just aint the same. We went to Cadbury world with first son years ago and was great.We will not be taking son number 2 as now both boys will not eat Cadbury chic.The cream eggs are vile and the cake we bought yesterday was awful.Please change back to original recipe. None of our eggs will be Cadbury ones. Son number 2 has a birthday that is around or on Easter day ....depending. We will have Easter Egg hunt with people and a roast dinner veggie and meat. We may also paint eggs and I will attempt a Simnel cake.

Choc not Chic!

We'll going on holiday to the Lake District - we've never been before and really looking forward to being out on the water. We've got some Easter chocolate already and looking forward to enjoying it in our holiday cottage!

We will be relaxing at home and hopefully will have a nice roast dinner and lots of chocolate. Will do an easter egg hunt for my 2 yo as well.

We'll be enjoying 4 days together, and will go for some bike rides and runs with the dogs

Nothing fancy but will have an egg hunt for my girls on Easter Sunday. Just looking forward to having them off school for two weeks.

The weekend after we are going to a christening and dp has been asked to be a godparent so that's going to be a special day.

We'll be off to the coast to meet up with our extended family for a few days. The DC will have an egg hunt and we are also hoping to start a bit of decorating.

I want to join Byrdie....

Hopefully we will be spending time with our new baby grandson who will be a pre-term baby, but he should be home by Easter. I really hope so, because I'm a first-time Granny and can't think of anything I'd like to do more this Easter!

I miss when my children used to make nests with bits of grass and twigs, for those fluffy chicks you can buy, my mum used to buy them for them.
