Easter is nearly upon us and to celebrate, the team at Cadbury want to hear what you’re up to! Whether it’s cooking a roast at home, taking part in one of over 250 Cadbury egg hunts at National Trust places around the UK, hosting your own hunt, or going on a trip away, Cadbury would love to hear what it is.

So please share your Easter plans with Cadbury by posting on this thread. Everyone who posts will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

In addition to this, we’ll be awarding 10 Family Day passes to National Trust places across the UK!

Please note your comments may be included on Cadbury's pages on MN, their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck!

alison991 · 23/03/2016 19:24

Easter egg hunts and a nice meal, then going away for a couple of days

HALA · 23/03/2016 19:29

will go to church on Easter Sunday, then off to Somerset to spend the day at my mother-in-law's. Perhaps have an easter egg hunt for the kids in the garden if it is good weather.

Dapootz · 23/03/2016 20:14

We will be doing the usual Easter egg hunt. ....I will be trying my best not to overindulge in too many eggs but am a real chocoholic so will fill my boots no doubt 😜

welshpolarbear · 23/03/2016 20:16

We're all mid lurgy so we'll probably be making some easter crafts and baking and generally keeping snuggly and warm. Have found some fab crafts on Pinterest so will be working from there :-)

I told my older teens that they are too old for Easter eggs this year and their faces, such disappointment. I have really got them eggs but want to surprise them so shhhhh. Other than this we not up to a lot.

ikkle87 · 23/03/2016 21:11

My partner will be at a car meet so will be just me and my son eating chocolate and watching films

nanoobaku · 23/03/2016 21:54

enjoy the time off and eat loads of eggs

jessiecat33 · 23/03/2016 22:07

My sister and I and our four children and 80 year old dad are oing to Wales for a week in a cottage on a farm. Hoping the kids will like the animals!

pinkspideruk · 23/03/2016 22:32

So far we have:

decorated easter hats for the easter parade (tomorrow)

Friday we have hot cross buns and hunt the hidden golden egg at nannies house (whoever finds the golden egg wins a fluffy easter bunny so stakes are very high)

Saturday our friend is running the Cardiff half marathon so we are going to her house to babysit and have a big easter egg hunt

Sunday will be taking the dog for a nice long walk probably in wellies as it is due to rain! and eating some chocolate!

turboshandy · 23/03/2016 22:53

Hopefully taking a walk if the weather is good and over-indulging in chocolate!

Lucycami92 · 23/03/2016 23:12

My partner and I are going to see the tulips in holland, and then all my family are visiting! Should be lovely, lots of local egg hunts going on for the kids.

eve394 · 23/03/2016 23:20

Taking our boys, 4 and 9 months to a National Trust property to take part in an Easter egg hunt! Can't wait!

helcrai · 23/03/2016 23:23

We will be visiting Wordsworth House in Cockermouth for the Easter egg hunt. Probably will have a drive out further into the Lake District and have a walk if the weather is fine. My kids will be consuming lots of Cadburys eggs along the way!

sue55 · 23/03/2016 23:42

Spending time with the family and hopefully getting out in the garden to do some work on veg beds

chicgeekdiary · 23/03/2016 23:52

We are planning an easter egg hunt for my son and nephews, then we are going for a nice walk and back to gobble up some easter eggs! :)

cuddles159 · 24/03/2016 02:22

I love easter it's so much fun, I always do an easter Egg hunt st home but also this year we are going to an arranged easter Egg hunt in our local area, can't wait :)

gggg1 · 24/03/2016 20:03

It will be nice to spend some time as a family while my husband is off work for a few days. Cinema trip, choccy egg eating, and probably numerous trips to the park!

LadyStark · 24/03/2016 20:05

I seem to be spending Easter being really disappointed every time I eat a creme egg or any cadburys chocolate. It really doesn't taste right!

missp0603 · 24/03/2016 20:28

Tomorrow we are off to our local National Trust place where my son is excited to take part in the easter egg hunt. The following days will be spent with family, and weather dependant, having our own Easter egg hunt in the garden.

NannaBess · 24/03/2016 21:03

Good Friday always begins with toasted hot cross buns for breakfast. Then Easter Sunday is a day just for the four of us. Roast lamb dinner, Easter egg hunt and cuddles in front of Hop!

SouthWestmom · 24/03/2016 21:10

So it's a four day fun fest, yes? Tomorrow Dh is taking half the kids to a national trust egg hunt and I'm taking the other half to 10, Cloverfield - it's brilliant both being off work as we can split them. Saturday will be chilling at home, doing nothing and shopping for eggs. Sunday we have the annual egg hunt round the house and then Easter dinner at my mums. Monday will be Easter crafts.

joyule · 25/03/2016 19:38

Nothing special for Easter as working the whole holiday and missing out on Easter Monday hunt and activities with my sons ! Have tried to arrange a day out for us to local trust but sure we would have missed most of the Easter activities by Monday 🙃
There's next year I keep saying to myself
