The British Red Cross would like Mumsnetters to use our baby rapper name formula to come up with your child’s rapper name.

Here’s what the British Red Cross say, “Our rapping toddlers show everyone how simple first aid is and encourage parents to get their first aid ‘rapped up’ by downloading our free baby and child first aid app. Now you can find your child’s rap name and win a great prize.”

Now follow the formula below to figure out your DC’s rapper name….
Your DC’s rapper name = Use your child’s first initial to decipher the first word using our alphabet below + your favourite biscuit*

*If your favourite biscuit consists of 2+ words, just use the last word (e.g. Chocolate Digestive = Digestive)

A = Ace
B = Baby
C = Cool
D = DJ
E = Easy
F = Fresh
G = Gangsta
H = Hard
I = Ice
J = Joker
K = King
L = Lil
M = MC
N = Norty
O = Original
P = Prince/Princess
Q = Queen
R = Rich
S = Serious
T = Trouble
U = Underground
V = Vicious
W = Wicked
X = ‘X’
Y = Young
Z = Zero

Post below with your child’s rapper name and be in with a chance to win a £300 John Lewis voucher!

Keeping in line with the theme we’d also love to hear a story of when your DC was particularly badass. Maybe they gave someone a piece of their mind exactly when they needed to be put in their place, or perhaps they gave you a hard core rendition of a song they had learnt at school? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it!

Thanks
MNHQ

Cool DoubleStuff and her older brother Rich Bourborn. (Used dh's biscuit)

HoneyDragon · 23/07/2015 11:25

Rich Bourborn does not sound like a rapper it sounds like a Jackie Collins character.

Cambam2010 · 23/07/2015 11:52

Cool Rich T (like Ice T but cooler)

DS(5) is an opinionated little thing that I can imagine rapping as he staggers around the room showing off his Funky Chicken moves

Cool Cookie.

Yesterday he was entertaining me with his impression of Freddie Mercury in I want to Break Free (and singing it) which was totally excellent.

Ice Dodger

Badass? She is 2 and becoming bossier every day. She has two 40 year olds doing her bidding!

Ace Leibniz for both DS and DD. DD was always very outspoken. When we went to her Year 1 parents' evening her lovely teacher said that she thought it was sweet that when she gave the class something new to do DD would sometimes raise her hand and say, "Excuse me, Mrs. X, but why am I doing this?" Once it was explained that e.g. it was to help her fine muscle control for writing DD would happily do it. DD always paid very close attention when I was teaching DS any Maths which was his passion. DD emerged from school one day saying that the teacher had been teaching them a very convoluted method of doing division so she out her hand up and told him that she knew a much better way to do it that her Mum had taught her. He asked her what it was so she demonstrated long division to the class. We had quite a few discussions about the meaning of tact with DD.

My son who is three done a break dance whilst singing a song he learned at nursery about a penguin at our wedding. It was worth having a videographer just for that moment GrinGrin
