Watch With Mumsnet, in association with Netflix, is back again this month – this time, with the critically-acclaimed series Breaking Bad, widely regarded as one of the most electrifying television shows ever to have come out of the US.

Breaking Bad follows Emmy award-winner Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a high school science teacher diagnosed with terminal lung cancer who, in order to support his family, teams up with a former student to manufacture and sell crystal meth. Millions tuned in to the epic finale last year; no surprise that Mumsnetters were among them.

Here’s what Mumsnetters had to say about Breaking Bad:

• "It's amazing - one of the most original dramas I've come across."

• "One of the best TV series ever … I loved it. The cast, the script, the acting...everything."

• "Now I've finished it, I realise it's almost as good as The Wire - so it's one of the best things I've ever watched on TV."

• "Just finished the last episode of Breaking Bad. It was intense. We've been watching at least one episode every night, sometimes three!"

With all five seasons available to watch on Netflix now, your viewing is sorted for the coming months (and, yes: we give you permission to binge-watch). Just come back to this thread and let us know what you think; everyone who joins the discussion will be entered into a competition to win an Xbox One console.

Note on spoilers: We want to hear your thoughts on everything, from plot twists to season finales and more - but if you’re talking anything that could reveal important plot details then please put Spoiler at the beginning of your post to warn others who may not have seen it.

Happy watching,
MNHQ

I was recommended Breaking Bad by my parents and was a bit skeptical when they told me the premise, however this show was amazing! It has everything - tragedy, comedy and great storytelling! The characters are fantastic and we love and loathe them and various points throughout this epic story. It was a show my husband and I would faithfully sit down to watch each week and I love the fact that after every episode we would talk and debate about morality, relationships, money, love and much more. It takes a lot these days for a tv show to be truly original, but Breaking Bad certainly was and I for one will be keenly awaiting what writer Vince Gilligan comes up with next!

It was hard getting into it but now i've watched a few series I can see what all the fuss was about

I have only just started to watch it, I am struggling with it also!

Watched first couple of seasons but wasn't sure if it was as people were saying. Glad I stuck with it though and I blitzed the remaining seasons in a couple of days. Really miss it now and I think Mike is one of my favourite characters ever.

I think I watched the wheelchair bit about 6 times... I was 'blown away' the first time I saw it and I just kept rewinding it and asking myself... did I just see that?!! did i just see that?!... and then of course theirs the finale which was something out of an action movie... Breaking Bad was a show I accidentally watched, based on feedback...

I'm a huge lover of Malcolm in the middle and I didn't at first think I could transition to watching my favourite Dad as a bad guy in the meth business??.. but I thought, what the hell, here we go... if i'm not convinced by the first episode, I'll return to the safe comfort of his family life sit-com antics.

I was treated to a visceral and complex opener that just grew with intensity, forging multiple twists and turns, yet staying fresh and interesting the entire time. I recommend this show to anyone and everyone (but maybe not younger children, stick with Malcolm in the Middle)

I've just past episode 6 on series 2. I watched all those earlier episodes in one long go. When I have the opportunity, I'll probably watch another series all in one. It's that good.

This is THE best series I've ever seen. I watched the whole series in two weeks. I can't wait for 'Better call Saul'.
