I called up last week wanting to send more evidence and they said it had been locked at but no decision had been made, called again today to check they recieved the extra evidence and they said yes and that it's with a DM. Hopefully not too long now, NC

Amazing, fingers crossed for you! What’s your scan date?

Got a text on the 7th Jan from them. Im seeing lots of comments about people hearing back very quickly, so hopefully not too long x

Thats great i hope your hear back soon🥰 . Im going to try and forget about it for a couple of months🙈 but the last time i applied for my eldest it felt like time dragged whilst waiting x

Just an update.
Sons original claim was November 2024 was awarded HRC no mobility he was 3
Put for MR for mobility was declined August 2025.
Put in for a tribunal September
DLA missed first notice
And was over due on the second. But had a phone call monday from DLA to ask a few questions.
I was told at the end of the call my son was being awarded HRM and that i didnt need to go to a tribunal.

Still in shock as I wasnt expecting them to respond at all and.
Only downer is that I will have to go through it all again as the claim was only for a year.

I constantly sent in evidence to the tribunal as and when I got it. I would be surprised If they actually read it all as I sent in so many reports from specialists. Aswell as my own written up letters.

I do still currently have an MR for my other child end of August.

I wish everyone good luck.

Diddlysquat8 · 11/02/2026 07:50

Sent renewal paperwork in December. Current award expires 4th April. Called yesterday and they said it is 'with someone'. So nervous. Does this mean it is with a case worker, or a decision maker? Are they different people. I'm just so anxious!

Waiting on renewal 2nd April, they only received my form a week ago and my anxiety is off the scale already. Anyone heard for renewals in April yet?

AugustLily · 11/02/2026 10:41

Hi everyone, I’m currently waiting for a MR 15/09. However, my claim ends on 11/06. Does anyone know if I need to call to request a renewal pack, or how this works when waiting for reconsideration? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mamto3boysX · 11/02/2026 11:39

My sons first claim was ending april 2025, and he got re-awarded 8 days before his claim was due to end. Hopefully you hear back sooner as i have seen people have decisions months before claims are due to end x

MrsBoo8888 I know it's awful 😖 they said this morning it's in a holding que still, i had to put in a coc in December for mobility and they said last week my mr was submitted December said no 15th July 2025 then I was advised there be done together depending on what one is picked up first I don't know if this is true, im just hoping the wait is worth it 😢

Oh that's so frustrating! I have read ones waiting on coc and mr seem to be taking longer, I've seen afew moaning on fb groups about it. Yours should of been done you've been waiting long enough. In 2 days it'll be a year since I called for the forms it's madness
