Positive post for renewals, SD 21/01 decision made yesterday 09/02 not long of a wait.

Your very welcome, theres not a lot of mums applying for twins on here.
My twins are also autistic and adhd, and one is at 9 months old developmentally and the other is at 12 months old. Both are non-verbal and one has multiple other health issues. They are both three.
No i get HRC for both and HRM for the other too so not got a MR for them.
My MR is for my second daughter, she has bladder issues, hip dysplasia, ADHD, bowel incontinence issues and bowed legs (which require surgery at 13 she only 8).
She got turned down last year from a NC i submited in febuary 25. X

any renewals heard back for may?

What was your end date? Mine was scanned on 21/01. Renewal end date 12/05 xx

I’m may 12th. Was scanned on 21/01. Just rang to make sure they got it and she said yeah but no decision made as of yet. She said they are usually done a few weeks before but working through renewals quickly. March / April / may getting done at present xxx

16th March so maybe that's why it was a little quicker, hopefully you aren't waiting too much longer 🤞

Anyone know how long the letters typically take to arrive?
Recv first payment (including back pay) on Friday, but still no letter 🙄
Is it worth ringing? Or just sit tight and wait?

They say 7-10days, so you should receive it soon 🤞

My scan date is the same as yours, my renewal is the 06/05 xx

Cant believe they turned your daughter down, keep fighting hun, really hope you get a decision real soon and hope its the award you need🤞 i sent both forms of yesterday tracked and signed for, and they have been delivered and signed this morning. Going to wait the 2 weeks to see if i receive conformation. Jsut hope it doesnt take to long for the outcome xx

Thank you, me too she requires a lot of extra care. My husband had to give up his job to help me with them all as it was just getting too much for one person. Im hoping i hear soon too!

My son receives DLA middle rate care, lower rate mobility. He was awarded last month.
Can I also apply for carers allowance? I’m just confused regarding carers allowance because of course I care for him 35 hours a week, I’m his mum. I’m just confused on what becomes ‘carers’ and not mum? Any advice x

Yes you can absolutely as he wouldn’t of got dla unless he needed extra care

I sent my twins NC of yesterday tracked and they got delivered today. Ive just recieved a text to say they have received dla claim. Could this be a sign they are working through NC faster, or is this normal to have a text this fast x

I called up last week wanting to send more evidence and they said it had been locked at but no decision had been made, called again today to check they recieved the extra evidence and they said yes and that it's with a DM. Hopefully not too long now, NC

Got a text on the 7th Jan from them. Im seeing lots of comments about people hearing back very quickly, so hopefully not too long x
