Same here. They must of taken new staff on and their putting the new Mrs in their pile while ours are waiting on old DM desks. That's the only thing I can think of it's so frustrating

hi I’ve put a new claim in. Scan date 14th jan. they’ve asked for birth certificate and I posted it two weeks ago. Haven’t had it back yet. How long does it normally take to send birth certificate back does anyone know? Thanks

Hi! I had my daughters back within about 5 days of me sending it, they were super quick to scan it on and get it back in the post to me. I’d ring if I were you. Xx

My second NC in the last few months! My daughters was completely rejected in December (5 weeks from SD to decision on the dot), so I sent another immediately off with more evidence as I hadn’t sent off any school, senco input, sleep diaries etc with the first, only parent based evidence. 🤞

MR scan date 20/08/25, I called this morning and they said they are going over the 25 weeks and looking at this, I still have awhile.

@Gemini000 hey, I called it's been escalated higher up as I have been told so many lies from call handlers which is not acceptable.So just waiting awaiting now

It's not even in a Que or with dm like I've been told

Any ideas how long claims are usually with a UC DM?

This is a bit of a confusing one for me and I wondered if any one been in this situation.
I did a coc in 2024 DLA remained the same, then I did a MR on that which didnt change it, so I appealed to the tribunal, this is still ongoing and i am waiting a date.
In the meantime i have done a DLA renewal, the rates remained the same but extended for 6 yrs. I have done a MR on this and am waiting the outcome, if it remains the same even with all the new evidence from his sepcialist school and professionals, do I then have to do another appeal to the tribunal as it a different decision or will the deal with it all in the current one?

What are the current MR waiting times? I did a MR on both my childrens dla. One i put in end of October and the decision was made December. Another i put in in September and im still waiting to hear 😒

I’ve seen this range from 7 weeks to a day so I think there’s no time scale really xx

MR end of July 25
just had a DM ring me.
hopefully not long now

My new claim was jan 25.. scan date Feb 25
Declined June 25..
MR July 25.. still waiting

I done a mr in July 28 weeks now and still not with a dm, there so rude when you call just say wait don't need to call

Yeh they’re awful, I started my claim in June 2024, it’s taken me this long to win my son’s case at appeal! Just waiting for uc to pull their finger out now! I only ever rang a couple of times because when yr stressed anyway, dealing with someone rude on the end of the phone that doesn’t understand the position we’re in would have tipped me over the edge! I really hope you get sorted soon 🤞🏻

@Emma198521 yes they are rude when you phone up. I'm 28weeks for mr to. So let me know if u here anything
