Someone earlier got approved for mr her scan date was 28/07 and I see another lady scan date 24/07 approved late yesterday but lots of people seem to be waiting for July on the feeds. Good luck hopefully not much longer for you l.

Oh really I was told with a dm on Monday but heard nothing. And I can never comment on fb for some reason

Bless you it is very anxiety inducing, im sure mines the 15th of july from what i remember. I called monday and wasnt with anyone. I hope you get the outcome your child deserves! Xx

Still waiting for decision and it has been 10 weeks tomorrow since scan date

So I had a phone call at 7pm from dla, telling me they’re authorising my payment and to make sure I’m ok having it in a lump sum because it’s quite a large amount, felt like asking if I could have it in instalments just for a giggle 😂 I won my case at appeal on the 19th so they’ve sorted it quite quickly, I was expecting a 6wk wait 😁

Some do take longer, mine took 23 weeks and i got my decision two weeks ago on friday. Just most recent ones ive seen are taking around 6 weeks x

Thank you! Fights over for now anyway, because this whole process has took almost 20mths, I need to renew in December 😭 I hope and pray more than anything I don’t have to fight like I have this time 🤞🏻

Thats absolutely awful that you have to renew in december bless you. Hopefully they have a good look at your award and see that your child deserves to renew and take the fight you just had into consideration! Xx

That would be good but I highly doubt it some of the stories we read on here! Never mind, at least now I know what he’s entitled to and know we can get it! His condition is life long so whilst he needs the care I will fight tooth and nail to get it for him taking it all the way if I have to, would just be easier if they looked at his case and used a bit of common sense 😂

I got a letter in a the post today they awarded my son from MRC to HRC

Really happy and surprised how quick they looked at my MR.

Hopefully everyone gets a quick response.

Mine is 30/12. Rang last week and was still on holding queue so think im in for a long wait

Same SD as me. I haven’t contacted them since beginning of Jan but that was regarding them saying my son’s name didn’t match the details they held for him. Seen a couple of people being awarded on FB for 30/12 so hopefully haven’t got to wait too much longer.

DLA support group.
DLA- disability living allowance and DLA for children. The group that is most active for people posting is the DLA support group. I’ve even seen a couple of Jan dates being awarded too.

Fingers crossed you hear back soon, im waiting on getting my twins forms back from nursery hopefully this week, then gonna post them. Hope its not to long of a wait x
