Just checked my bank and I have some money in im assuming its from dla as I put a NC in for my 4yo daughter SC 18/12 didn’t have any evidence other than a speech and language letter from about a year ago lol now just to wait for her twin brother MR x @Princessmom222

His sister was awarded yesterday MRC LRM for 2 years i did call and ask to confirm rates and length and the woman let slip about my sons Award as I was asking for update

I need to contact UC to backdate his disabled child element
Anyone know a quicker way as sometimes they take weeks to months of chasing to receive it

Congratulations to you too lol make ur change on your account and then I think sometimes it may be quicker to call them aboht the back payment as they can take a while to respond in the journal x

Me again lol im trying to rack my brain cause im obsessive like that is the back pay from my scan date which is 18th December or when I called for the forms I can’t actually remember when I called for them but it would have only been a few weeks prior to scan date x

Oh wow congratulations hun, so happy for you! Its a bit shit when your still waiting for another one to be done isnt it.
My COC didnt get changed and a decision was to keep the award the same with the original date. They said her circumstances remained the same which i know it hasnt. So i have her renewal going on and they told me to send of extra evidence as late evidence for it to be relooked at. However i called yesterday and they hadnt sent over her evidence to the dm. So im currently on hold trying to find out if the women yesterday has done it now! Otherwise i will have to do a MR along with her renewal.
My MR is still not done from July xx

Well my COC has gone back to the original decision maker along with a report from daughters disability worker, a report from school, report from GP, updated speech and language report, ADHD diagnosis, two week night time care log and updated EHCP plan. If she gets turned down for HRC i have no idea what else to send. But will definitely be doing a MR as its a joke.
My MR is 27 weeks and still in a holding que so still got a long way to go with that one!

Its so tough having children on the spectrum and ones that need continous care throughout the day and night is no joke. I honestly wish my children didnt have the struggles they have on a daily basis and always having to fight for them is relentlesly hard!

Claim is due to end 27/2 and they said coc would be done at the same time. I rang last Friday and nothing yet, I was going to ring tomorrow but now husbands out all day so I will be with 2 very noisy children by myself so might ring today instead.

What date is your COC?

My coc was the 5th of august on the 29/12 the award didnt change and neither did the date. Still recieve MRC and LRM. I believe she should be getting HRC. Was told two weeks ago to send of the extra evidence i had and that it will be given back to original decision maker. It is finally back with them so just awaiting decision. Otherwise il have to do MR along with my renewal xx

my COC scan date was 30/09. Just got my decision. Declined kept at same rate! Had so much evidence to back what I’ve said up. Supporting letter off EP, school, speech and language. Acceptance letter for my son’s autism assessment. 7 night sleep dairy and my sons needs during the night!! Can’t believe thy have declined him!
