Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

First set of forms sent on 15th January. Called at 9.00 am on 14th Feb to hear they never received those. Sadly, the forms were not registered, only a recorded posting. Received a new set of forms.
Was delaying filling them as there was so much work and so many documents to copy!
Got a call a week later to say they found the forms and they will go in as 22 January ( maybe this is scan date).
Waiting with the rest of you now.

I called to ask if they had received our forms for a new claim and was told they received them on 31st Jan but they haven't been uploaded onto the system yet. Does that mean they haven't been scanned?

They also said they had a different address for DC (our old one) so will change this when the forms are uploaded.

Just wondering if I would expect to have some form of acknowledgement of receiving my MR form? DLA decision was made mid January.

I posted it recorded delivery, it was received 3rd Feb, but I've had nothing from them to acknowledge they have received it.

I'm planning on popping them a call next week to check, but figured I'd ask here first to see if others have received something from them to confirm they have got it and are processing it.

Hello my SD is also 24/10 and haven't heard back yet. Will update as soon as I hear though :)

NC they we’re delivered recorded delivery 11th Feb will this be my scan date?
I haven’t called to ask if they’ve received them should I call to ask this?

Hopefully this week as a few I've seen has been 18+2 weeks. Although I will probably be the one that takes longer. Hoping they don't need to contact anyone as I've sent everything to them. But we've recently decided to home educate now, so hoping that doesn't go against us.

It depends if they uploaded them to their system same day as they were delivered. You may get a letter in the next few weeks with your scan date on, or you can call up to ask. In my experience the letter confirming they have scanned it on usually takes around 4-6 weeks to come through

@gezelligheid thanks, the proof of delivery was a picture of a big pile of claim forms and I haven’t received a text to confirm they have it like others have had so I might give it a couple of days and then ring

called last week and said it’s not been looked at yet and to wait 25 weeks.

I’m 22/10 I was told it was in a Que to go to a decision maker

Hopefully we are hearing of lot more outcomes this week. And they finally wrap up September MR/COC xx
