Phoned yesterday but told it's still in the queue. Not sure we'll be awarded as I didn't have much evidence to send.

Oh thank you I will do it now. So annoying that we have to chase everything up constantly 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

Congratulations so happy for you and your child. It goes to show you that call handlers have not given accurate information.m for back pay to come in it must have been awarded last week.

Just called this morning, spoke to a nice lady called Caroline. She said I'm still in a queue and it's taking 20 weeks as they've had so many claims. Made myself feel worse by calling! Scan date 28/03

i've just received letters to say they are willing to backdate the disability & carers element but it doesn't say what the amount would be or when it would be paid?

do you know if I will
receive another letter confirming that or whether it will just be paid into my account

So I sent a ton of extra evidence to DLA, royal mail shows it was signed for on the 8th. I've since called twice and they're still saying they haven't received it. First told me to call back this week and now the 22nd. Did you guys use this postcode? wv991by. Just getting really stressed that a random person has received a ton of documents for my child from the NHS 🙄 (Just to reassure me a little has anyone received this signature from DLA? I'm used to a different one) why is nothing ever easy! 😂

scan date 9/04 14 weeks & 1 day fingers crossed for everyone waiting x

I had this in beginging of may where it had been nearly 2 weeks an still wasn't scanned on but was the following week was where normally all other evidence was scanned on the next day, I always have "DEAN" sign for mine though, I sent evidence Monday and it's been put through on system and now waiting for this bit to be, have you got a copy of everything to send off again if you need to x

@Mommy2boys30 yeah I usually have Dean too that's why I'm slightly worried. No but her community nurse is amazing and will be able to print it. Just frustrating x

Yeah it's a nightmare but I guess they have so much every day, just give it till end of week if not try and re send it but keep proof so you know you have sent it

@Mommy2boys30 oh yeah absolutely. I don't mind waiting for the scan! it's just the uncertainty of someone random having documents about my child 😅 fingers crossed it's gone to DLA x

Called today SD 19/3 it’s with the DM but they said it could be a further two weeks yet. 😔

Send a message on your journal saying thanks for the letter. It doesnt state when or how much the back pay will be. Can you please confirm.

itll trigger the case worker to send the second letter. The first letter comes from the DM so two separate people. You can wait it out but how long is a piece of string with UC. It’s better to prompt. I got my letters around 2-3 hours after i asked for it. Hope that helps 🙂

Parking with you, same scan date

We have a trio! My scan date as well.

I did ring them this morning knowing that it was very early to chase up but I’m just so worried about the 6 week holidays coming up. My daughters funded CBT has ended and her behaviour is getting worse, I can’t afford to pay the sessions privately as they are £145 a week 😫 they were really helping her but feel like we as back at square 1

Oh my goodness!! Very similar story here. School was funding my daughters therapist, but have said they can not do this for her anymore and has stopped it, unless we get granted funding during her EHCP assessment for it to continue. Crap isn't it. Single parent. 😟

Scan date 11th April. Ive Had no letter or text to even acknowledge my claim however i did ring to check they had it hence how i know the scan date. I also sent additional evidence last week and called yesterday and it has all been added to my claim
