hi, i follow 2 different groups on fb , these are the dates ive seen that have been awarded over the past few days .

Although the april one im thinking may be too good to be true as my sd is 02/04 and ive not heard anything yet.

Still waiting but not concerned yet - scan date 24/4, which means 15 weeks will be 3 weeks tomorrow (so we start being 'overdue' after that and might actually get to hear in September). I had to send a new passport number early in the process so I have phoned and had confirmation that they got it, and also had the initial "you have applied" letter a while ago.

Wow that gives me some hope, usually when you see more than one or two in your date range they are roughly on that period. I'm clutching at straws aren't I lol!

Im glad its given you some hope , i seen atleast 3 or 4 of each date of march that i mentioned above so hopefully you will hear soon 🤞🏻

im 15weeks today and not heard anything yet i suspect i have atleast another 2 weeks before i hear anything but known my luck i just have this gut wrenching thought that itll be the 20week mark or more before i hear .

28/3 is date they said they received the forms

Although I sent the forms 19/3

Into the 16th week and im expecting to be rejected and have to do an MR.

Always such a fight for anything when it’s hidden disabilities 😞
Have become a single parent since the application so need it more than ever now 😟

I hope we both hear something soon! I remember speaking to you on previous posts weeks ago! Haha! Have you been asked to provide a birth certificate atall? I have a feeling they will ask and just prolong it further.

It really does, thanks, it's amazing how you can get through 13 plus weeks then all of a sudden it's on your mind constantly because it's near the time. I might call tomorrow, worst case I can make myself leave it another week then! Fingers crossed for all of us this week x

i havent been asked for birth certificate yet , im hoping that they dont ask for it tbh as i need it in couple weeks time as we go away for week in caravan and will most likely need to prove my sons age with birth certificate as 3and unders are free to get into zoo&attractions , but my son is tall for his age so taking it incase i need to prove his age

yeah ive been worried since sending forms off im just an overthinker but its gotton worse the closer its gotton and now im on week 15today my stomache is in knotts worrying . I shall keep my fingers crossed for all if us and hopefully we will all get awarded what our children deserve x

Will try keep in contact with you on here as much as I can? It will probably help keep me sane and help make me not feel so alone during this whole process. I have just seen a few posts where people are on 18+ weeks and have now just been asked to provide birth certificate. How exhausting is this wait! Bless you that sounds exactly like mine! I have 5 year old who I’m applying for and a 3 year old who is very very tall for his age no one believes he is 3! :)

I'm 15 weeks today too,had to stop myself calling today they'll only say no decision yet, driving me mad now

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question about UC back payment.
I received a letter on my journal yesterday saying they've agreed to back pay from the date of my sons dla award and I've just checked my statements for the last few months and they've been updated but only carers element has been added. Do they not back date the child disability element too?

I had the same thing happened to me last time. I had to put another request in the chat requesting back pay and chase up till they added it.

From what I’ve seen on FB, the wait varies by location. I’m 19/3 in Hampshire and I’ve seen two others with SD’s before mine from the same area with no news yet.

These are the two I use.

Aw yeah thatll be nice will keep us both sane whilst we wait for our decisions. And oh i seen a post like that on one of the fb pages its shocking how long they make us wait such a stressful time for us all and exhausting mentally. I can relate on that as people always doubt my son is 3 because he is tall untill i say he was born sept 2020

Honestly i darent call, im worried iff i call my claim for my son will be declined so trying to hold off as long as possible . Hopefully we will hear soon 🤞🏻

just under 16 weeks
phoned Friday not with a DM woke this morning to back pay in my account of £2436.10 can anyone work out the rates for me please?
I haven’t had no text confirming award and award letter yet just wondering what my 8 year has been awarded I can’t work out the rates

I think it's probably higher rate care and lower rate mobility. £137.25/week total.
